Thank you so much for putting the time and the efforts to help us. I am wondering if you’re going to post a new video any soon? Could you please talk about the tone, mood, irony, metaphor and smilie? I am very confused between the irony and the metaphor Thank you again!

Most important things to remember: Read questions first, manage your time: if after approximately 1 minute you are still not sure of an answer - GUESS - and move on. Do not leave. any blank. Good luck to you!!!

@carolynmcallister14962 жыл бұрын
Hi, and thank you! Yes, for Science I recommend Khanacademy.org and/or BozemanScience.com. But...be sure to take notes when you watch the videos as that will help you better retain the information. Good luck!

Hi Professor McAllister. I was wondering if the videos in your playlist "Passing the TEAS" are more geared toward the Reading section? Or does this playlist contain videos for passing the English and Language Usage section as well?
@carolynmcallister14962 жыл бұрын
I have created a separate playlist on "Passing the TEAS" that focuses entirely on English and Language Usage. :) Good luck!

Professor does it matter where the opinion is in the passage or will it be likely in the first and second sentence of the first or second paragraph?

Hello Professor what's the difference between a secret bias and an open bias?
@carolynmcallister14963 жыл бұрын
An example of an open bias is people/groups who commit hate crimes. An example of a secret bias is someone who is a racist and tries to conceal it - like someone who serves in public office - or even an educator or pastor. Hope this helps.

Whenever you see an 'opinion' (good) word, it indicates opinion.

@carolynmcallister14962 жыл бұрын
@@soseductivebundlez2055 I am not familiar with the TABE test. The grammar portion works for any type of grammar question, but I the Reading strategies were designed specifically for the TEAS. Good luck!
