I just finished the latest season of ‘For all Mankind’ and I completely agree. They go straight to calling them terrorists and minimising their struggle to being about money when we’ve seen the conditions they’ve lived under the WHOLE SEASON!! They have non of the benefits of the higher ups, their jobs change without notice, they don’t even have privacy. Meanwhile in previous seasons we saw characters struggle with the same things and find satisfaction in work that gave them a sense of fulfilment, but this season we minimise their whole struggle down to money and greed.

Medical glue is still cyanoacrylate, just instead of usual ethyl-cyanoacrylate (super glue) it's octal-cyanoacrylate which I think is less toxic (but the toxicity is negligible in usual cases anyway). Of course other specialised adhesives, cements and glues have been developed for medical use as well.

Haven't finished the episode yet, but just to comment on the topic of whether or not art can have a positive political impact, and how KZbin videos can have calls to action - Soberana, the group that Ian is from (the guest from episode 107) often shouts out the up-and-coming brazilian political party UP (Unidade Popular) and suggests people to join them. The calls to action happen so often that UP saw an ABRUPT increase in memberships since their partnership with Soberana started (having about 102% increase in members just last year). That's an organization that works with occupations and many social programs. Soberana's KZbin videos are OBJECTIVELY helping people to politicize and organize, causing actual - though admittedly still tame - material change. I think Soberana's work could be used as a subject of study on that topic.

Like (spoilers for the first few episodes ig) communists coup Gorbachev's liberalizing government (based honestly). But ofc then they start cracking down on "muh free speech!" and doing executions and having a ton of corruption tied to like "powerful families" (I didn't even know libs thought that stuff happened in the USSR). I want to get back into watching it because the actual sci-fi is very interesting but I'm gonna have to trudge through so much red scare propaganda if I do.
