Not a bad video. However, why do so many of these video have that annoying electronic elevator music so loud that you get a headache and then when you get back to the talking portion it's so quiet, like you are 200 ft away.

Awesome vid! I just bought a K100 to do a similar project and these vids are great. Would be good to understand from a ‘newbie’ perspective, what tools did you use/ need for the project? Many thanks in advance!

As long as you have a set of metric sockets and some allen wrenches you have enough to get started. The only specialty tool I've needed so far is a BMW oil filter wrench but I'd recommend you just get started and buy/borrow specialty tools as the need arises. The one thing I would highly recommend is a hydraulic lift table. Makes the job a lot easier and more comfortable.

A bit of oxidization on all the exterior surfaces, but nothing critical. It's taking A LOT longer to polish up the parts than I anticipated, so far.
