I have been using a natural soap bar for hair and body for about a year.. love it. Saves using shampoo chemicals and using plastic bottles. Haven't used an official shampoo bar. Still use bottled conditioner, though, can't find an alternative yet.. Love the socks for Wyatt and all the yarn. Nice. Great video.

I love using shampoo bars, when you get used to it it's way easier than 'regular' shampoo, at least for me. I use liquid shampoo once a week after swimming and I don't like it as much. I love the baby blanket! I have some yarn for a baby blanket, so maybe I'll cast on that pattern. And wisdom teeth removal is far less painfull than when they grow, that was my experience, everyone is different. Sure, it's not the most pleasant thing and it's annoying for a couple of days, but I found the growing much more painfull! 😊

My sister-in-law swore by pineapple juice to reduce swelling and bruising after wisdom teeth surgery. My nephew was perfectly fine afterwards. I didn't have a chance e to try it with my girls, but just putting it out there. Lots of pineapple juice the week or so before oral surgery.

I have to second the drinking of pineapple juice after wisdom teeth removal! The enzymes in the pineapple that break down meat are proven to reduce swelling. I drank about a litre of it during the day after having all 4 removed, and the next morning I was no longer chipmunk looking. And shampoo bars are great for travelling, I love bringing them with me when I fly as it lessens the liquids you have to carry through security. :)

When u were talking about the chicken situation I was thinking we used to get amazon packages sent to our door… with my name on them… but nothing was ordered on my account and they weren’t gifts. Someone was having them delivered to my house and then hoping I wasnt home to retrieve them so they could come get them off my porch. Kinda yucky because someone was probably watching our house. But thinking it may not have been their address but somewhere they were going to get it from 😂

Kay, I have been using shampoo, bar and conditioner bar for several years and I love them however, I have short hair so they’re easy to rub over my head and they last a long time. I’m interested to see how they will work with your long hair.

Oh, Friend!! My wisdoms didn't pop through until I was pregnant w/our babies (very painfully!), so they also just kind of chilled until a dentist declared they needed to come out! My mouth was tender & sore for *months* afterwards! I'm glad I'm through it, but it was very uncomfortable! I hope you all follow the icing/salt water swish instructions carefully & have an easier time!

Thank you!!!💕💕 I have just one trying to pop through the gums right now and it’s not too tender yet. But definitely sore! 😆 I have a cleaning appointment in May so if it gets worse before then I’m making an appointment! I just know it’s going to be that they have to come out and I’m scared! 🤣

Do you have a recommendation for a non-wool sock yarn? I live in Florida and the super wash merino is too warm most of the year. Love your videos ❤

I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth out 20 years ago and still remember it ugh lol. I don't recommend the pain meds, I think I rather feel the pain lol.

I understand that!!! I don’t do well with pain meds and prefer not to take them! I had a surgery (minor) done a few years ago and didn’t even take one of them! Eric filled them just in cast but I was like nope. I’ll take Tylenol and Motrin if I need it. 🤣

Great podcast! Just as an informational thing. I am older (much older). My wisdom teeth are in and they aren’t hurting or causing issues so my dentist says as long as this remains no need to remove. Not sure if that is the case for you but thought I would mention it.

Thank you!! I have one erupting right now and it’s a little sore. But maybe that’s just normal soreness with it pushing through the gums and I’ll be good to go? 🤞🏻

I've been using shampoo bars for years now, and while when I'm in a hurry a regular bottled shampoo would be a lot more convenient, I prefer the bars. They last longer, and they are better for the environment (less plastic packaging). I use it just like soap, lather it up in my hand, and then massage it in my hair that way. Give it a try! I'm sure you will like it!
@CrazySockLady
@CrazySockLady 4 ай бұрын
I’m definitely going to try it!! I was concerned it maybe wouldn’t lather up enough for my hair. But I’m excited to give it a try.

Hi Kay!! I’m so happy you are enjoying the Christmassy Club!! ❤ Question on your jelly roll blanket. Your Ravelry page says to knit through back loop on first stitch (first strip) then slip last stitch wyif. Do you slip it knit or purl wise? I’ve done both and they look totally different on the edge lol. Thanks for your help!! 🥰

i had one wisdom tooth pulled when it was causing me pain but the other 3 came out a few years after. I was fortunate they were growing in straight so I didn’t require to be under anesthesia I just needed numbing shots. I feel like I had a much easier time than people I knew who had anesthesia but no straws for a while really sucked (pun intended 🤣)
