I'm going to go out on a limb and say this story is both not very good and also not very true. Either that or the people of Lanulos are dumb as hell. They are a people that don't wear clothes most of the year but have a whole room with tech that seems fairly complicated and probably took a long time to develop and set up just to wash the clothes they mostly don't wear? I think this Woody guy just wanted to convince people to walk around nude all the time and wasn't very creative in his argumentation.

Well I was totally into it until the introduction of religion, and then chapter 2 seems like complete sci-fi to me. If the key to communication is telepathy, because spoken language doesn't allow full communication. How come they still didn't understand human behaviour? Just turn on a TV to see the wars begin and to see people's reasons behind what they did. They could have just stuck around and acted as mediators or anything. Why didn't they help if they wanted to know us so much? If the guy didn't have an income because of being chased by everyone intersted in his 'encounter', then why didn't he go to Lanulous where he could live in peace? It was too stupid for me.

Quick dirty maths: Earth Moon distance - 384, 400 km Speed of Light - approximately 300,000 km/h Apollo 11 - 40,234 km/h So in 30 minutes to the Moon is 2 times the speed of light and 15 times the speed of Apollo 11. So it was a really quick trip. XD

I feel like you missed the mark by a fair bit in that math, since the sun to earth is about 4 light minutes. I am also pretty certain the speed of light is supposed to be in Km/s
