You are absolutely 💯 correct just your wording little off! Vong knows khmer refugees suffered. He chose to be here for a better life. He talks expenses but his income is high $$$ than most people in America (median income). He doesn't talk about politics.

There are always pros and cons no matter where we live. My top three concerns after my arrival here were culture shock, language barrier, and uncertain about my future. After living here for 43 years, my top three things, l like like the most are freedom, opportunities, and social benefits after my retirement. Actually, it takes time for you to become fluent in English without thinking with Khmer language first in our head. It's good to take a long or short vacations with family to recharge our energy and to get away from stressful work. Sharing is caring. Peace ✌️

You're the successful one. Know that you have transcended put of being Khmer, also Cambodia is fading away. Both of these are out of our control.
I have 8 points I don't like about Cambodia. 1. Ruled by dictator, 2. No freedom of speech, 3. Corruptions, 3. Nepotism, don't expect to find job if one have no connection to high ranking people, 4. High class people always look down on low class people, 5. Civil servants treat ordinary people like trash, 6. Land grabbings by the powerful people, 7. Cambodians live as slaves of the Vietnamese, 8. Vietnamese spies with khmer names are hiding in all levels of institutions within the kingdom.

It seems like Vong embraced all the points you mentioned! His points in this video: • Memories of Cambodia, go visit, it doesn't make Cambodia better. •Speaking khmer, see above point. •Culture; Vong brought it with him. No doubt khmer culture is grand. •Bonding; nonsenses •Food; food imported into Cambodia may not be regulated or well regulated. •Expenditure=lifestyle;Vong missed the midnight neighbor's karaoke . Too much spending but Vong makes over $100k a years plus his KZbin ($). •Racial group; true •Weather; physical geography. When the Cambodian refugees came to US, they felt uprooted from their country and took many many years to assimilated. Most have PTSD. Vong chose to leave Cambodia for US, adapting to the country with ease. This video serve little educational purposes.

Unforgivable sin committing blasphemy on birth land from a distant😢😢😢
យកច្បាប់ជាធំ មើលស្រុកឡាវទៅដឹងហើយ! Hun Sen is the longest ruler of modern Cambodia. His rule is firmly back up. Cambodia advancement is also allowed. Now the country is starting to openly welcome Vietnam. Places have changed name to Vietnam. Vietnam flag flies next to Cambodia. Tonle Sap is inhabited by Vietnamese. China has a physical present in Cambodia but not as ingrained as Vietnam. Vong never mentioned this in any of his videos.
Patriotic never run away from his/her own country. Live and die defending your own country is what patriotic do.

You, my friend is a person with a conscience. Many to went back do not. They are happy to be among the ugliness, and at the same time suppressing the poors.
I appreciate your perspective and hearing the pros and cons of both countries. People who are quick to getting upset with you need to realize that it’s all subjective. Like you said from the beginning of the video, it’s based off of your experience. It’s your interpretation and opinion. It’s good information, so keep doing what you do.

Bang Vang now that you said that it is reminded me the first time when the United States opened the door let people from Cambodia in. We as Khmer people so happy to them.We want to touch their hands, talk to them, and inviting them to our house, and we don’t really care if you are a TV star. All we want is to be a person from our home country. But most of the time these people become a snob and have an attitudes towards us. They’re think that they are better than us because they’re TV or movie star, and they don’t know that we don’t really care about what they do. All we ever care is to meet someone’s from our home country. But eventually they get the pictures that they are nothing if compared to the movie star in the US.

Living here or there always have pros and cons; subject of this video is talking about pros of living in Cambodia; I know that living in the US has hundred or more pros than that and that is why i decided to live here; I hate some people speak about bad stuff in our country; im not talking about politic but only living life, culture, languages matters…

More than that, subject of this video I write 7 points that I love Cambodia that US, I use ‘I’ not ‘You’ or ‘We’ Remember everyone always have difference opinions. If u can bear living here u sure can enjoy life in paradise living in our motherland, if not,how come everyone keep saying save money to go there by 100 grand, , ,❤go !
As far as I know America never force anyone to come to live in America against his/her wills. If you come to America on your own free wills and later you realized that America does not meet your expectations just buy a one way ticket, fly back to Cambodia. By you leaving America you provide an opportunity for other people who want to come to America. I'm sure there are millions of immigrants at the border ready to take your place.

Why all Khmer now came to USA always complaining about USA. My family came 1983 it no way I trading USA to Cambodia. 1995 I sponsor my husband to USA 27 years ago he never even want to visit or live there even though all his family still there. We have no problem with financial everything been paid for, no debt. I always told my husband to visit his family at list one a year but he refused. We sponsor his family sister and brother but they refused to come because they always watch the video like YOUR. Now we stop contacted them we getting TIRED. oh you speak so true we came 40 years ago and Khmer just came now it doesn’t match.

it's about information sharing to those who did not know about life in the US. In my 300+ video I always share about pros and cons of life living in the US; US is best, US is perfect but US also has some disadvantage of living, especially for those who new comer. You live here for over 40 years and it's nothig for you, it's your home country even you were born in Cambodia. Imagine if you move to live in Cambodia you will also facing with some problem, so that's why I make these video to share to all Cambodian who wish to come to the US so they can prepare themselve what should/should not do - agai, it's not about the complain!
