I had an intrusive thought at 3am that made me look at part of my battle plan and go "no thats dumb as hell!" So lets talk about!

I guess i got into mini rescue on ebay as an off-shoot of tabletop. Essentially i had product and price knowledge, and experience in fixing damaged models. And as i was looking for some old, hard to get minis i kept noticing some hidden gems in joblots or on ther own, often with missing parts and in a pretty awful state. Since i was getting my models paint stripped and fixed, i thought i might as well get some of those "hidden gems repaired as well and sell them labeled properly so they are easier to find for those that might need them. It certainly wasn't to make much profit. (i detest scalpers selling new stuff for 5x the original price) It helped a bit during the pandemic and it kept me busy.

Short term is not worth it, but if you got a long term plan with the bases and other items, it is well worth it. I been looking and at my local computer store a Creality Halot-One Resin 3D Printer with Print Size 127 x 80 x 160 mm. For $150 CDN. I am tempted but I live on an acreage with some chickens, dogs, summer we got some sheep and will get betting two goats next yer, lol. soooo. I am just going to buy the Older models that are on sale at their site, and do them when i can. If MKIV get Cryxx, i might go that way, but till then. Chickens, lol

I mean even short term.. Khador to do my ice bases the way I wanted was $300. Another army (spoilers I did buy into a 2nd army) would be roughly $200. The total printer setup was $400. Even short term with JSUT basing those two out.. this was worth it imo.. . Also a rumor you might like. Someone put in an the order comment section asking for "when will we see cryx" and the PP staffer replied "Sooner than you think" so next year you might get your wish and see a Mk4 Cryx verison
