Absolutely! Some of us really do thrive in it, and when we're shamed into thinking that's wrong, then that's where the toxic shame builds. Time to undo this programming.

It is in dark moments that a correct attitude is most important. If we fight against the darkness, we are swallowed by it and suffer misfortune. If we react to the lack of visible progress with despair and negativity, we extinguish our own inner light and block the aid of the Higher Power. If we try to persuade others that they must return to the light, we exhaust ourselves in vain now. In a time such as this is it wise to adopt a stance of outer disengagement and inner perseverance. Do not focus on or interact with the negative influences around you; this only strengthens their grip on you. Step aside, yield, let go, allow people and events to pass without attachment. Direct your attentions inside to your inner light, your devotion to what is right, your conversation with the Higher Power. To have patience with oneself is to have self-love. Progress may be slow, but there will indeed be progress after inner realignment. Growth takes time, in order to make things as stable and flexible as possible at the same time. Remember that much of the work of the Higher Power is hidden from us, and that we enable and assist it by remaining detached, accepting, and reserved in the face of negative influences.

I like this. Awareness and acceptance without resentment, blame, etc. are so freeing. Cultivating deatachnent and patience with oneself really does pay off!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for deeply describing and finding the words of how I feel often times. Sunken thoughts and inner conflicts and so often this sixth sense as well as the feeling of not been understood together with the frustration of wanting to share these beautiful feelings of being alone and feeling the beauty of the wind, the flowers and trees in a forest for example. Being quiet and listen. All about this connection to the inner self and nature. Connecting thoughts with feelings together and bring change to the foreground in our todays times. Doing what feels right and not just what feels good. Look bravely into the darkness and find the light in it to overcome the conflicts in our lives. Be creative around that and learn new things. I would love to share this gut feelings and this inner truth but it seems that I have to accept, that others don’t feel that way. Instead I have to tell about my own need for time for myself and maybe they listen why, when I try to talk about the lone wolf metaphor. A request for another video: As I am facing now the truths in letting go of a beloved partner and started therapy about my difficult childhood with narcissistic elements, I would like to know your thoughts about love relationships and how to manage it as a lone wolf. The inner conflicts. Getting children. Fears about the need for time alone. Is there hope in finding the inner peace together with all these troubles? Do you have advice to form a good relationship. What kind of partner or personality is needed or what explicitly not. For me it is crazy to make my first comment ever on KZbin and it is on your channel. You touched me and I am glad I found you in this time of my path. Hope you are doing well. Have good start into 2024. Greetings from Germany 👋🏻😊

Spot on. Thank you for the confirmation concerning my emotional world. It is peculiar to me how I have come back to this video once again 5 days later and my perspectives have changed considerably. Feeling lost and lonely kind of sucks. I haven't quite learned acceptance at this point, but still have HOPE and Faith that things will change and I will see a release from this depressed state. In the meantime I will continue to enjoy it as much as possible. Depression equals greater expansion, Right? I look forward to hearing from you if that is still a thing. PM was sent on Messenger. Hello Richard, there is definitely something to gain from those dark times. Perspective as you already can tell is something you can access and choose at any time - and so what if one day you feel like it sucks and the next day you don't - just noticing where you are is a way to be mindful about your present state. Sometimes coming to a place of neutrality is best during those times.
@richardfreeman226810 ай бұрын
@@frayamortensen Thank You! What if you live in a place of neutrality and have done so for an extended period of time? I have been broken physically and mentally. Now rebuilding from the ground up. Good thing - When I find the strength to do so. LOL. I am tired. Tired of 3D. Everything around me is non-sensical?. Having to interact with this reality and its constructs is sooo uncomfortable. And finding someone to talk with about it - non-existent to date. Connection where I am? A lot of closed doors. I keep knocking. A bottle of wine, a fire and in-depth conversation exploring the unexplored - that would be nice. I write. Comprehensive and prescriptive information for foundational awareness of being human. Theory is our thoughts become emotions. Emotions create a vibration that the body uses to communicate with the rest of the body. It seems to me emotions are an extremely important component. So why isn't anyone teaching emotional evolution? If we are unable to comprehend and master our emotions how can we continue to evolve in a manner befitting the Human Race? I'll get off my platform. Thank You for your content. For the most part it continues to speak to me.

In nature you know what happens to the lone wolf? They don't survive that long. They have to do all the work, like trying to hunt and survive. They don't have protection. A pack is much more successful. BTW, I've been a "lone wolf" human for 6 years now. Its okay but I don't like it that much. One one hand its very good to DIY, YEah there are incredible moments, but us humans are social creatures and watching that incredible sunset alone for the 1000th time, gets old, ah lets go inside and go to sleep...

Another great video! thank you. It hasn't been so long since I became aware that the human lone wolf was a real thing. I just assumed it was a delusion in minds of random internet males or the occasional old war vet hippie who I'd see wearing a jacket with lone wolf written on the back. Fun fact, I raised a real wolf pup I took from some little Indian kids on a reserve who kept throwing it off a dock in attempts to drown it. It was at a fly-in tourist fishing camp in Northern Minnesota where my girlfriend and I worked one summer . I was taking a girl who worked in the kitchen back to her home by boat when I saw what was happening. The little wolf pup grew up to be my best friend. I would have thought for sure that I had significant feminine energy before seeing this video, mostly because I was raised by the strongest female I have ever known. Only her husband was as strong. Also because all the male relationships I've had were only on the most superficial level. I honestly can't relate to males or any of their common problems. All of my deep and meaningful relationships have been with females. I've always been the master of my own universe, never a victim in my mind or for real. I'm only competitive with myself and I'm never mistrustful of anyone (in a fearful way) because regardless of what may happen I'm always coming out on top. If someone wants to betray my friendship it's their loss, I just move on, never looking back. I only wish I would have been more considerate at times in the past, but I can't change it now, so not many regrets I guess. I mostly avoid situations were I know I will hurt someone now.

Blaming is totally, automatic disempowerment ... feels reasonable but personal response-ability not react-ability. Great advice. p.s. there are about 4 other words that are very nuanced and appear like blame but are actually making sure the unscrupulous actors are identified an held response-able/account-able.

Alpha, sigma, beta all of these are labels and that’s it. Even lone wolf, these are constructs employed by people who need persons to each be placed in an organized set of little boxes so that they can make a tiny bit of sense out of a chaotic world. We don’t fit into a clean set of categorical compartments no matter how much you need for us to. It’s limiting and ignorant we are not millennials gen x zoomers or boomers. These are constructs and like this alpha sigma bs upon close examination they are revealed as nothing more than constructs. It’s become taboo for us to categorize based on race, so now we’ve reached for other ways of creating a taxonomy that limits people. Life is fluid choices are fluid people change. Black and white thinking is the very essence of this outlook. There is zero science behind feminine energy or masculine energy sigma or alpha. The concept of alpha is based on wolves. We are not wolves and do not organize ourselves in a way that resembles a wolf pack, not in the slightest.
@DavidCastillo-eq1hl11 ай бұрын
One thing I would like to point out is The alpha wolf is constantly Seeking out support and validation From other wolves to satisfy their ego They are leaders of the pack not Lone Wolves.

I definitely know a woman can be lone wolf, my ex was. Both of us were, and it was a great relationship until I f'd it up! Best thing I ever did was realize I'm weird, and became ok with it, and most people don't see things like I do. I'm struggling with being mid 40's and being submissive/complacent most of my life, now I'm getting frustrated and trying to take control and set boundaries, and people suddenly think I'm an asshole! Can't say I've ever been lonely though, I do have strong family connections so that may be part of it.
