Never too old to learn new stuff , loved the plug for the Band-Aid’s . Old Jags love having attention paid to them, I had a 1963 one back in the 80s , good times

sp it's possible to remove the grill by reaching from underneath and removing some wingnuts?

Yep - I think originally they may have had actual small nuts (mine had wingnuts)
