Just a tip for blocking. You want it installed flush with the studs it’s connected to otherwise whatever you are mounting into the block can detent the drywall

thanks for the tour nice house. I see you decided to use the PEX- A. I like the front door but the width of the front entrance seems a bit narrow. I think if the side lights for the front door were located on the opposite side of the door it wouldn't seem as cramped, or if there was an extra set of side lights that pushed the door to the center. In it current configuration you need to step back and open the door to a full 90 degrees to enter rather than moving to the right slightly to come in.

I come in just fine. I wanted a 48 inch door but when it came time to order they couldn't go larger then 40.

Google plumbing valved manifold and pick what suits you best. Stay away from the plastic ones.

Just curious as to why you routed the electrical about 2 inches below your water lines. That doesn't seem very smart.

That's just where the electricians put them. Water lines and electrical wires cross all the time in a attic.

Do you know where in the Florida building code underslab utilities is addressed? There is nothing different running water or electric in the slab. Conduit is just a sleeve to run the pex

What is the r-value/thickness of the R-Max and are the furring strips 3/4" or 1-1/2" thick? Built my (framed) Florida house 4 years ago, will be build with block this time. Thanks for the video.

I believe the foam is r6 and furring straps are 3/4
