Episode 5: Talk About Singleness in the Christian Community

In this episode, I am interviewing Beth on her "journey of singleness". We talk about the common phrases and icks that people say to singles and new ways to approach it. If you are currently single, have a friend who is, or if you're not, this episode can be an encouragement to you. If you aren't single, still give it a listen because there is constructive feedback on how you CAN support single friends without always bringing it up in conversation. This was a REAL one lol.

In some church buildings it can make a single person feel left out when. Sermons are geared toward being married with kids how to be a better spouse better parent I’m like where do I fit in with this? The pastor assumes everybody is married that’s not the case for everybody in that church building though. I’ll say as a visually impaired man I gotta be picky with a woman I choose I mean can’t afford to be left stranded heck that even goes for friendships. Yea it’s good too be a little picky and have some good sound standards I don’t know anyone that don’t have standards least a decent person. Hint standards can mean also spirit of discernment.
