Hi Selma, I am new to your podcast and enjoy it very much! I watched 4 in a row, like binge watching 😃 Thanks for your interesting information, your wonderful sweaters and everything else you are sharing with the world. I can’t imagine how many sweaters you have 😉 I feel more “normal” right now: always thinking of the next project to cast on and buying yarn for it. Feels good 👍

Selma, thank you for your support for Ukraine, it really means a lot, more than just the dollars donated raised or donated, the united *visible* support from other countries is a huge factor in winning this war. I just need to point out though - it's not The Ukraine, it's Ukraine. Just like Canada is Canada, not The Canada. Outdated references online to The Ukraine are based on the Soviet-era treatment of Ukraine as a territory of sorts, rather than as an independent sovereign country. I'm not trying to be one of those "well, actually" people, but this is important. Now more than ever. Слава Україні!

Oh Selma, both sweaters are beautiful and look great on you. Hint when doing the Kitchener on toes : eliminate the set up and go directly into slipping one off knit wise, purl into next stitch, then the back (purl off, knit on). When you get to the last stitch on each needle, just slip them off. When you pull your yarn to the inside to weave in the tail, those loops just disappear. Courtesy of Suzanne Bryan. 🙂

Love Ozark. As usual your knits are great. I lost yarn chicken while making a shift cowl. So I had to put it on hold and order a second skein of each color way. I don’t want to get stuck again so I decided to get three all colors so I can continue it and finish it. I’m so close. I’ve knitted it tightly for me so its amazing I ran out of one color and I’m very close to running out of the other two colors and don’t want more delays. I have a month before West “Collaboration” summer Knit-a-long begins. Very excited. I’m going to start a sweater and work on as I also keep adding onto stash busting blankets That I have on the go. I wanted to finish the shift cowl for this spring but this set me back for next fall, lol. I guess I’ll be wearing it next year. Oh well. I far into the last stretch I will certainly get the yarns and finish it. The West KAL this year is utilizing 3 yarn dyers and three shawl designers being hosted by Stephen of West Knits. Can’t wait. TV is my background while I knit also so I also include OZARK as top watching material. I’ve watched the series several times already. It’s the best series that I’ve seen in a long time. I’ve been watching other things that Julia Garner has been in. I find her very engaging in “Inventing Anna”. It’s about Anna Delvey the Instagram legendary heiress. It’s a true story with I’m certain dramatically endused scenes and story lines to enhance the dramatic impact of her story. She is a bold con-artist that lives a wild life filled with imaginary memories of her childhood or just made up ways of what she wished could be her past. It’s interesting she’s creatively looking for her place in a world she desires but doesn’t true,y have. People believe her so she gets away with conning people for a good while. I also really loved a series called “After Life” It’s a comedy drama with Rickey Gervais. Very good honest drama with dramatic comedy and genius story telling. The simplistic lifestyles are very realistic and the people and community is very real to life I love great story telling where is not so crazy with people able to beat up 10 others at once. I like reality and to see others life styles of things I can relate to even if it’s far from what I’d ever see in my life it’s still believable.

I will have to check out After Life. Enjoying Inventing Anna. From interviews I’ve seen with her she seems like a real sociopath but who knows what has happened in her life! Good luck with the cowl!

It was not for me. The Osarks is fun. Thank you for the list. I would love to make mention of another I do enjoy… Amy Palko/ The Meaningful Stitch.
