What people fail to understand is that the lovely nature they have with humans and specifically kids, is a direct result of their being a fighting dog. If any explanation is needed, I will explain.

Yeah but I don't agree with they should be friendly with humans under any circumstances.

@@ric-zg1ik They absolutely SHOULD be gentle and loving with humans.. an unstable Pit or staffy is fucking dangerous! A little 30lb dog CAN kill you.. quick! They'll protect you 100% naturally without training... Training them to bite humans goes against EVERY instinct they have

Staffotds have always been my favourite breed I too have had them since 1987 my first childhood dog was a stafford .since then I have loved staffords and have only ever had the breed. Too many people these days want that big bulky stafford .they let them get over weight and it leads to all kinds of illness and can sadly take years off their life .I have a 13 year old she can run like a puppy still😘I also have a 2 year old he's 16 .9 kgs and looks perfect he is a lovely boy a little nut. Case always doing silly things in the house he's a little comic I'm sure he thinks how can I make my owner laugh today 😁 I would love to get him into sports like track and athletics .I give him plenty of exercise there out twice daily and I alternate it between running and running next to me on the bike and always play tug of war or he will play tug of war with my old stafford she is still really fit . I keep him as fit as possible I don't Feed to much ether. He also loves hanging from trees 😁 I hate it when I take my dogs out all the dogs are off lead.then other people start panicking and shouting their little yappy dogs . I always have mine on the lead and find somewhere where there is no other dogs .we can be the best owners in the wourld we can't account for other dog owners stupidly so we always have to be one step ahead and be the most careful owners. My staffords are my. Life they are so clever and loving .also i want to say rest in peace to my best boy who I lost nearly 3 year ago tyson he was a legend 🩵 aged nearly 14 he was my best boy ever .🙏. thankyou so much for doing this interview .you have a lot of knowledge .and you're staffords are stunning💯🔥 .I hope you do more interviews soon .God bless and take care 😘

Good to hear someone talking sense when it comes to not using these dogs for protection. In there history as fighting dogs they were handled in the pit and even they ever showed aggression towards man they were culled as were there progeny if the dog had already been bred. Marco has bred some amazing looking staffs. Very popular dog in the UK most you see aren't as athletic as his.

Great interview as always 👏 the best videos are the ones about the Staffordshire bull terriers i may be biased because there the dogs i keep but they really are the best dog someone can own a lot of people will tell you a pitbull is but for me them dogs are a little unstable specially the people who has most of them dogs 🐕 shouldn't be incharge of an electric toothbrush let a lone a high performance animal like an American pitbull terrier

Most have a favorite breed they are biased to and that is perfectly normal and ok. But any balanced dog is the best gift a man/woman could get.

True. SBTs don't breath well. Breeders should select dogs that breathe best, recover easily. I share the same, "Bull-and-Terrier" for protection work, big no. Better dogs for that (malinois, rottweiler, german sheperd...). An original vision of the Safford, both scalable, from fighting dog to sports dog. I completely agree that English Bull Terrier, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, American Pitbull Terrier are part of one and the same family, the "Bull-and-Terrier". Sport competitions are a very good thing to determine the athletic quality of a dog.

Amazing interview! Just want to comment on the electric collar, it’s very misunderstood. Low level stimulation from a e collar is very different then throwing a collar in a dog and cranking it up to shock the shit out of it. No different then throwing on a prong collar on a dog and pulling the crap out of it to make a correction, that’s not how you use it . E collar when used properly at low levels is a very valued tool for training.

Its interesting what he said about the Poodles. I always say Poodle is like a bull and terrier, both have a public image problem! Both are unfairly judged on their reputation, but in opposite ways. You cant always judge a book by the cover, what matters is inside his head and heart.

Really enjoyed this vid! He spoke about so many issues that a lot of people struggle to understand about dogs like how they feel a humans presence before hearing them and words are confirmation of the sense. I wish this kind of video was in school education and helping teach ignorant governments like in Uk who kill bull breeds too often purely because of the way they look, even when they are innocent of a dangerous act. The Staffords look amazing as well, strong looking terriers, how they are supposed to look, not he dwarfed fat type I see every day in pet homes and the reason I ended up choosing cross breeds with no regrets, I have great dogs. You can't get good Staffords in the UK any more that's for sure. Thanks for sharing this.

Great hounds, Also I don't know who needs this, but I'd like to bless anyone since you've blessed me. Jesus christ loves you and gave his life on the cross so we could live and have a relationship with god. All we have to do is recognize our sins and ask for forgiveness and believe in jesus christ his son.

Because here in america, MOST people don't have real Staffs or pitbulls.. they've got mix breeds or bully's that are bred to be oversized pieces of shit and just "call them" pits... Folks that breed their dogs for working will have the real dogs!

I disagree that a this breed shouldn’t display human aggression in any situation. Would you want your dog to stand and watch someone still your shit or beat the hell out of you in your on house? He speaks as if this little dogs are capable of doing more harm than the other breeds he mentioned like the boerboel or Rottweiler. I see a lot of cases were dogs are stolen and that just won’t happen if your dog is aloof of strangers. I like the apbt a little more but unless it’s a smaller breed I want my dog no matter the breed to protect my property and myself if the situation comes.

Apbt06There just not a dog that will protect your home worst guard dog ever 😂 .they will protect their owner like most dogs would .I agree their should be no aggression to people they have never been aggressive towards humans. And German shepards rottweilers are dogs that will not let people in your house..staffords need to be kept off the banned list and the minute we start training them as a protection dog .they will be back in the media saying they are a vicious breed when there not .there a lover not a fighter .
