So I finally got over the four-day no SOS hump (I've been mostly no oil and vegan for many years). I went to Cracker Barrel with my family the day after Thanksgiving and ate a baked potato, sweet potato, and steamed veggies with lemon. I couldn't get over how flavorful my plain potato was before I put lemon on it. The sweet potato tasted like what I remember pumpkin pie tasting like. The veggies weren't overcooked for a change; even the broccoli was lovely. Wow! Thanks AJ.

Hey Chef AJ👋. I wonder if Control and + (plus sign) will make the text on your chat screen bigger. And if it's a Mac it's the Command key and the plus sign. To make it smaller you use Control or command and the minus sign. I hope that works for you.

You've convinced me to buy an instant pot (actually I bought 2) and I'm certain by the end of 2016, you'll have me convinced to go vegan. You really are awesome! I have one question, I would like to lose about 70lbs - I am currently eating animal proteins plus low carb, and tracking every calorie through a phone app...its very time consuming. If I gave up all animal meats and dairy, plus all processed foods and consumed whole plant based foods, could I eat a lot of un-processed carbs aka rice, potatoes, quinoa, beans, fruit (like a couple bowls full) without counting any calories and still lose all the weight? I'm scared because I hear so much backlash about high carb diets, but you preach the complete opposite which I wouldn't mind trying. Thank-you

D H if you drop your low carb, animal product laden diet and switch to a Whole Foods, plant based diet, you will most likely lose weight. You are switching fattening, calorie-dense foods for low fat, low sugar, low salt foods that are low in calorie density.

I have spent ?? hours this past week or so reviewing your videos...everywhere I can find them to gather information about your UWL program and still not quite sure what all that includes. I've caught bits and pieces of the program from parts of these great videos and of course there is a list on your website but I'm still a bit clueless. Maybe its because I just dolled out $175 for a 90 minute consultation via phone from a YTber about diet and macrobiotics and hardly got more than pretty much everything I already knew about a vegan diet except the HOW! lol...Can you save me some time (not that I won't continue to watch your videos) and leave me a link or a description from a video that you may know of that explains it in detail?
