Thank you, Dr. David! I wanted to chime in as a massage therapist as well. There are enormous education and regulation problems in the massage industry to the point where I'm disgusted. Some massage therapists legigimately don't understand that nerves have ANYTHING to do with muscles, let alone understanding any nuance with working with nerve problems. I don't trust any massage therapist and only allow them to do very general work, because their idea of "deep tissue massage" is to do repetetive hard effleurage with some pauses to dig at "tight" areas. Just awful. I do my best to give a safe and effective massage and most importantly I know when I don't know something and I'm not just going to B.S. the client to get repeat business. Sadly, my approach is a hard sell with clients because they want a lot of pain during massage to prove that it's "working."

4 years ago you recommended doing a squat by the door jam so this video says not to do squats. What are you recommending?

Hi Kathy, we aren't sure which video you are discussing but we usually don't recommend doing squats because most people use their quads and not their glutes. If you can lean slightly forward when doing squats and the main muscle group you are using is the glutes then squats can be done.

I had the same few years back and was sciatica , pain never traveled down the leg Few months back again but also pain down my outer site of my thigh until knee and only Acupuncture helped me to get rid of all

But is it enough if i only follow the exercises you have given in your playlist in your KZbin channel.. Please reply my comment.. Actually i was suffering from sciatica about 8 years now I'm 24 .. I couldn't sleep for 1 year after watching your videos i have started exercise following from your channel.. I don't have those exercise tools some you have recommended specially hamstring tightening ... Actually my main point is who can't effort or can't easily get those tools what should they do and one thing is that is it safe to carry heavy weight? Is the pain really gone after doing this exercise.. I also have realized the benefits of these exercises but for confirmation i am asking. May allah the Almighty bless you.. You have helped me a lot
