Epoxy Floor Roller Marks: How to Eliminate them

Thank you very much. i put a epoxy paint on floor . after the cure there were all roller marks. Then i eliminated them with sanding. i watched the video and fixed the problem.

May i ask what roller brush you use? Sheepskin or cotton?? Thank you.

I prefer using sheepskin but I know many people who use synthetic rollers and they are very happy

this foam roller or common roller for painting?

Common roller, I don't recommend foam rollers as they tend to absorb too much product

Hi can you apply epoxy resin over a water based self leveling compound after it has been primed??? Any info would be amazing! 😊

If you are talking about a cementitious self leveling compound bonding with epoxy is possible. However what is the primer that you used? Most primers will bond but some may react to the solvents in the epoxy

Hi thanks for the reply! The primer is a 2 part mix for the epoxy resin for a decorative floor with added Pigments.

Yes the self leveling copmund is a cementitious self leveling compound by "MAPEI"

I will be applying the epoxy primer on top of the self leveling compound once dry.

is this also advised for polyaspartic resins?

I do not have much experience with polyaspartics, but considering that they are fast drying, back rolling would make sense
