Epoxy Resin Christmas Baubles & More Christmas Pinterest Craft Ideas (BPC37)

Well it's time for another Christmas special of the Blind Pinterest Challenge, and in this episode we're taking on some epoxy resin Christmas baubles, a very questionable Christmas jumper, some cute Christmas tree candle snowmen, a kind of ball sculpture of Christmas lights, and a super fancy reindeer ornament that I was very worried about trying to make! And to be fair I think all the Pinterest Christmas craft ideas I tried worked pretty well, especially the epoxy resin Christmas baubles! I think the only big downfall was the hideous Christmas jumper that for some reason I made in such a weird way! But let me know in the comments whether you'll be attempting to make any of the Christmas craft ideas this season, and if you would have made the differently!

Ps sorry about the really long message, I hope you don't delete it for it because it's so long. It's got some really interesting information and random a$$ facts in it, and I hope you enjoy reading and learning some new things. 😊 With regards to the acrylic ink effect, I believe it's due to the chemical reaction, like if you put oil based dye in a pool of milk, it spreads outwards because oil and water don't mix. So chemically, it repells the oil along with anything else that it is mixed and bonded to on the molecular level. I'm not a science whiz or anything, I just watch a lot of random sciency/ sciencey stuff on KZbin, etc. Also, I learnt the other day on youtube that you can make fabric from milk. It's very similar texture, feel, look, and weight wise to sheep's wool yarn. It was the primary way and material made and used not long before WW2 or somewhere in the middle. Before nylon and other fabrics had been invented, which led to the process being and production being drastically or at least used much less to make material to make clothes out of, etc. Mostly because it was a very long and labour intensive process. But it would definitely be a good, more eco-friendly way of not relying on synthetic materials in America, particularly because they have a lot of cheese stored away in giant volts underground and in caves turned into volts. They have so much cheese due to the us government giving out to many subsidiaries to dairy farmers back when the doctors lied about the food pyramid and following that lie was made that drinking milk was "necessary, especially for growing kids etc" yes calcium is important and necessary. However, getting kids to take tablets was a harder sell than getting them to just consume more of what they were already consuming in the first place. The government and the lobbyists and doctors, pharma all worked together to sell and hype up the "claims," leading to excessive milk production and its knock-on effects on breeding dairy cows to produce even more milk yields each year and as well as the monetary incentives through government subsidiaries nationally. This all helped and caused the milk that couldn't possibly have been consumed as quickly as it would being produced. and so, therefore, the farmers and the government didn't want it going to waste. So they made it into cheese, mostly, but also a lot of it was used for yoghurt and ice cream etc. But even with using it to make all those other projects, their was still too much milk being produced. However, even after they realised they that the cows and farmers were producing way much milk. They still didn't lessen or cut the subsidiaries they just kept making cheese and stock pilling it. Because the American government can never admit that they were wrong, that they caused that problem in the first place. They were in cahoots with lobbyists, doctors, farmers, law makers, pharma.

On the savings for a house, I recommend getting the app moneybox. With the Lifetime ISA, a 25% government penalty applies if you withdraw money from a Lifetime ISA for any reason other than buying your first home (up to £450,000) or for retirement. Your account also needs to be open for 12 months before you can withdraw penalty-free for a house purchase. It counts as ‘open’ once you’ve made your first contribution.

I also think if you sprinkled some silver glitter, then seeled it in. That it would have broken up all of the negative white space just a tad bit, and plus, it might of had the added bonus effect that of the glitter refracting off the light and it would of made it sparkle in the light especially in a dark or dim lit room.

The reindeer ornament looks spectacular, although I hate polystyrene. The jumper was worth it for the comedic value, but I wouldn't wear it.

I loved today's video Ant, not only were the crafts really interesting some of which came up so well, the half moon with lights and a reindeer especially, but you trying to look all wreath like was such a giggle. You are a naturally funny guy and I love your editing on your videos where you paste in all those sarky remarks from various tv shows. I might copy that moon with the feathers, lights and polystyrene balls idea for myself as that would make a great decoration. I really loved those resin pieces you did too. Oh dear, you made smile and chuckle so much with this one. Honestly, I loved the banana hanger moon thingy. LOVELY! I must try to make that one some day. You know, that resin mold is the one ornament mold I did NOT buy this year and now I really want it LOL Oh well, on the wish list for next year. Too late to get it now. I lucked up in that the man I married already owned a home and land, without mortgage. It's nice to not have someone poking their nose (landlord, room mate, etc) into your business. You absolutely did look like a wreath when you put your arms up!!!!! That's. Genius actually! It does look a bit xxx-mas with your arms down and the camera angle 😂 but maybe if you filled the greenery in a bit more to make it fuller and/or added some baubles like a right sorted front door wreath it would work a bit better. I think just cause the bow is so big and the greenery is thinner that's why it looks like pine tree feathering lol The Xmas wreath idea is adorable though I'm sure you could just fluff it up with a bit more fake greens and it would be genius!! Hi Ant. Merry Christmas! I loved this episode of the Blind Pinterest challenge! I saw all of your Projects, even the jumper/wreath, turned out very well. I really liked your ornaments better than the ones from Pinterest. I thought the colours were much nicer. The ornament with the hanging deer was gorgeous, and I would’ve been tempted to just have the wrapped fairy lights on it as well. Snowman light was super cute and I did like your jumper. You do look good in a turtleneck. You also look good in a Santa hat. Actually, you are one of those lucky bastards who look good in hats. I just look stupid but would love to wear hats and look as fabulous as you do. I’m having quite Christmas but I hope yours is full of lots of fun and laughter, good food and fabulous presents.❤
