Epson EcoTank ET4500 "End of Service Life" - Waste Ink Counter WIC Pad Cleaning & Fix

Epson's EcoTank ET-4500 is a great printer. However, what do you do when a printer's ink pad is at the end of its service life? [16-7] This problem is usually caused by a full Ink Waste Pad. You have two options to keep using this printer. One would be to take it to an Epson service center, have them replace the pads, and reset the waste ink counter. Hi Calvin, I followed your step to install waste tank kit, but when try installing the connector, the nozzle move inside. Anyway I can remove the tank assembly to access wasted ink nozzle. Thanks for your help

Hello Kevin, Appreciate the video. I see a few people have asked you about the Epson ET-4550. I have a bunch of Epson printers. As you know they like to shut them down. Do you do repairs in your shop? Can I send 2 printers to you? I would like them both repaired. This way I can pay you and not have to buy another printer from Epson. Both of my printers that are down worked great and then magically stopped. To be honest I do not want to deal with the headache. I have the ET-4550 eco tank and the WP-4530. I know they are just basic issues. Our ET-3750 seems to be okay as well as our 4750. Just want a place we can send our printers when we need to fix them. If you are able to do so, please let us know ASAP. Also, an idea of what you would charge.

Wait a minute you are telling me you buy a printer only to have the manufacturer put in a kill switch which makes it not work after it decided its waste pads are full of ink. That is total BS from the manufacturer, this practice should outlawed and illegal.

Inkjet to reset your printer has a long list of scammer warnings. Do not trust this guy. Why on earth would I trust him when hundreds of people are warning against the site this guy is recommending.

I'm soo disappointed with this printer, I will never buy one again. I never had this problem with printers that use regular cartridges. Your video was good but it's more than I want to do especially rinsing out that black ink. I would rather just buy new replacement pads

I am so disappointed here. I came to find out how to take the ink waste part out and you skipped the most valuable piece of information that I needed. No body is showing how to take that part out, so there is no way to know how to do what you did, and you just skipped it.
