I was given an XP4100 by someone who couldn't get it to work with her MacBook 2 years ago. She had left the ink cartridges in it all that time, so it wouldn't print at all. I watched the video, bought the product, go to do the cleaning and scroll through the menu and noticed "clean printer head" option on the screen so I clicked on that. It started making all of these noises and a few minutes later it said all done, do I want to test? I tell it yes and it printed great! Might want to add to try the self cleaning option to your video. Going to save the cleaning solution in case that doesn't work next time.

Tried this a few times. used 10ml of solution, dried everything, checked to make sure everything was dry, used a few paper towels to soak up extra solution in the printer. put new cartridges in, and ran the printer head alignment again (over 10 different times). Still no luck and the printer is not printing one full color. sad because ink is expensive and trued just about everything.

Please make sure you are running a printhead cleaning after using the cleaning kit. You may have to do it several times before the issue is resolved.

literally the biggest waste of money I ever spend in my entire life. I've had printers all my life, tried the Epson, and never have I ever had to "clean the nozzle heads". I bought brand new ink and all my papers come out absolutely fucked.

thank you. But I have a question: I just loaded the printer with new cartridges and never used color print. But the color cartridges ran out. How can I print black only when the color cartridges are empty?

Hey so i just bought this printer and I tried to print but i for got to remove the yellow tabs on the ink and it did not print. Then i took them off and tried to print and it still won't work any ideas on how to fix it?

Followed directions as in the video. Didn't work. Cleaned nozzles. Installed new Epson ink cartridges. They clicked into place. Removed the yellow stickers when doing so. Did the nozzle cleaning with the printer. Did the alignment checks. Only the red ink showed up on the alignment checks.
