He has a point. Men work hard for their woman and family because they expect to be appreciated for all the hard effort. Take that away and introduce a woman who won't cook and clean yet still expect you to pay for the dates, be romantic, buy random flowers, open doors, pull chairs, etc and then you wonder why men don't want anything serious anymore and women can't keep any good men.

Funny bit. But there is no real equality because we are all different. Should all shortstops get paid the same? Or cooks? Or doctors? Or writers? Or mechanics, carpenters and plumbers? When I've been at Johns Hopkins during my son's open-heart surgeries, I saw some nurses who did 90 % of what a doctor did while some nurses I wouldn't trust drawing my blood.

Kids in their 20's cannot even imagine the World of the 1940's and 50's. Sexism and even racism were pretty much accepted premises in a lot of areas. I'm an amateur Sociologist that loves to study people and trends and how they relate to the Military and Economics. To me it's a great Hobby and makes me feel better about a lot of what I see, or have seen, in society. Makes me feel better because I understand it and we mostly fear what we don't know. Peace.

They can't find any humor in his ignorance at all. Today's kids, I swear, theyre so busy being Politically Correct and Accepting of everything and every lifestyle choice but quickly judge those who don't think like they do, regardless of what decade it is.

The problem is this. When you judge people equally based on merit and they don't score highly, then its because of all the reasons above and not the fact that they just suck at the thing we are talking about. There are no complaints about all the people of race who are good at what they do and get treated accordingly, its when you find the people who under-perform being judged accordingly that it becomes racial, sexist, etc. Its the same flawed logic that makes women want equal rights until we talk drafts or other unwanted roles.

Women have other advantages, if she gets pregnant she can decide to keep it or get a abortion, the man gets no say in that. When it comes devorse settlement the woman always wins, the woman gets the kids, the house, most of the money. Judges hate men.

In my humble opinion women don't even do enough to keep happiness and order in the family homes as well. All across the board, they are certainly not as good as Edith character depicted in this show. If all mother and wives were exactly like Edith then, yeah women would get equal pay in the workforce.

First the gender pay gap has been debunked for years. Second, everyone has an equal opportunity to negotiate his or her own pay. You are generally worth more when you put in extra hours when needed, aren't constantly calling off, and can do the job well. Third, men have perhaps more trouble negotiating their pay in the modeling industry than women do ANYWHERE. Last, women are quick to point out less pay and oppression, but who's really being oppressed? In 7/8 of all marriages, the man is still pulling in the chief income. It's a fact that women make more money from men than men make from women. I would call that a form of oppression, but I can't, because men don't complain about it.
