It wasn't about experience back in those days over a woman, because back in Archie Bunker days women weren't considered equal to men, But in the 70s and 80s things began to change when women started asking for equal rights and equal pay and Archie Bunker didn't like that, his point of view was based on the Bible not based on man-made Society.

No, the "real" conservative argument is to say women belong in a domestic role while men should be expected to provide. This way people can actually support families on a single income, our society will be more inclined to marry and have children, and the needs of the children are always met.

We all get along splendidly and they even helped me chop up a large tree branch that fell in my backyard during a storm. The obvious difference between you and I is our education level and environment. If you learn anything from our very short interaction it should be this. Being a bigot is an imbecils way of jealousy, if you can't adjust to your changing environment it's simply because you are too primitive to be in an evolving society. @It's my way or the Highway 1968 Does not owning a gun make you feel less of a man? There is a book called "The Feminine Mystique" it speaks of how woman in the 60s feel they have to behave a certain way, look a certain way or act a certain way. It's a book on feminism but ultimately can be applied to all genders. It concluded on you should not behave how a people want you too. You will never be free unless you are yourself. You can and should be what you want to be. I guess what I'm trying to say is you don't have to be this way because it's expected of you. I sense you are frustrated and think a gun will solve your problems. Don't conform to your milieu. I suggest you seek help rather than validation. Best wishes to you friend.

Why are there "ladies' nights" where they get into venues for free and not men? Why are car insurance companies allowed to charge men higher rates than women? Why does the spa I go to get away with hiring ONLY women as an explicit policy? (Btw, I'm FINE with them only hiring women.) Why do women get away with telling men to "man up"? What do they mean with that "sexist" messaging? I can seriously go on and on. Women are fine with "sexism" when it benefits THEM. Liberals like yourself were and are complete hypocrites. "Equality" is just something you can bludgeon men over the head with to get what you want in the moment and then forget about a half a second later when something about the "old fashioned" values will benefit you over a man.

I don't know why there are people who have this misguided notion that humans rights are like zero-sum physics equations (where one element of the equation [typically potential energy, kinetic energy, etc.]--in this case, a demographic--receiving more means the other elements of the equation losing an equal amount)

Not complaining but I work with women that get paid at the same rate as I, and can't get nearly as much done as me. I have to help them and lift heavy objects for them. They talk a lot and never put much effort in to their work. I should make much more than them. Although I've had women coworkers in the past that actually do work hard (sweating profusely, and sore but still on point) and am glad to see them making what I make.

Yeah, the real injustice is that women get paid as much as men for an unequal amount of work. Seems like employers also give women more time off then they are comfortable giving to most young men.

"What's the point of a man working hard all his life trying to get someplace if all he's gonna do is wind up equal?" This is 100% correct. A man who works hard can't expect a promotion or a raise, because the hardest workers are usually men and the trend would get the employer sued for discrimination.

The problem is this. When you judge people equally based on merit and they don't score highly, then its because of all the reasons above and not the fact that they just suck at the thing we are talking about. There are no complaints about all the people of race who are good at what they do and get treated accordingly, its when you find the people who under-perform being judged accordingly that it becomes racial, sexist, etc. Its the same flawed logic that makes women want equal rights until we talk drafts or other unwanted roles.

First the gender pay gap has been debunked for years. Second, everyone has an equal opportunity to negotiate his or her own pay. You are generally worth more when you put in extra hours when needed, aren't constantly calling off, and can do the job well. Third, men have perhaps more trouble negotiating their pay in the modeling industry than women do ANYWHERE. Last, women are quick to point out less pay and oppression, but who's really being oppressed? In 7/8 of all marriages, the man is still pulling in the chief income. It's a fact that women make more money from men than men make from women. I would call that a form of oppression, but I can't, because men don't complain about it.
