Hi Holly you must try to get a lunging snake Because an elastiek lets them hang olso sidrains are the same And that heps to get them long and low
@hyunjini75866 жыл бұрын
People always mistake my Quarter Horse for a Warmblood because she built so much topline from doing long and low lol. Also, your teeth look amazing! Oh and have you thought about trying chambon? I love them so much! They really help them stretch down and out!
@HollyLenahanSJ6 жыл бұрын
Thanks! And I’m really happy with the results I get from the aids I use now so haven’t needed to try a chambon ☺️

Holly Lenahan I am for selling horses but i feel like some people treat them as ‘disposable’ and like how you don’t get rid of them quickly if you get what I mean xx

what are the reins sorta things you used on Fiona to have her drop her head? I need to get me horse to drop his head to build up his top line, so I want to get something like he thing you have.
@nipsuyamo6 жыл бұрын
Horse Crazy i think she said she used elastic bungee, but people use baler twine or leather too. Just be careful and lower it gradually, as you said, he doesn't have the muscle to hold it down so you need to build it up slowly
@HollyLenahanSJ6 жыл бұрын
A bungee :) I think it’s also called an elastic training aid in some online shops
@livhonestly6 жыл бұрын
How do you longe, I always end up pivoting and then get dizzy, I know you have to walk a small circle while the horse circles around. But I only dod this once, can you give me your input?

hiya, not sure if you can help but i’ve been using a pessoa system on my horse and he doesn’t understand working long and low? in walk he walks with his nose touching the floor but in trot he goes very hollow with his head high in the air. i assume it’s to do with a lack of muscle. do you have any other advice to help build those muscles up faster? x
@hayley24576 жыл бұрын
Anna Cutforth Maybe try an equi-ami which encourages more stretching whereas the pessoa sort of encourages more of a round outline
@HollyLenahanSJ6 жыл бұрын
The Pessoa should be encouraging him into a long and low outline, are you sure it’s set at a correct length for him, if its too loose, it won’t have an contact on the bit or his hind end :)
