It just goes to show you how much the staff of an ER changes in a few years. It took Carter a couple of minutes before he recognized someone and it was a paramedic who doesn't even technically work in the ER.

When he left and told Morris “You set the tone.” Archie’s reply was,”Huh?” He figured it out. Gregg Pratt had become a great doctor too. That shock of losing him was heartbreaking. John Carter, even though he was ‘in and out’ was our only constant. From “Day One” to “And In The End…” And several of the nurses and EMT drivers. There’ll never be another show like this.

I absolutely loved ER!! Carter’s progression for a novice to an experienced professional over the seasons had been wonderful. Back in the day ER was definitely my best TV series of all time. Even today the cinematography in the trauma rooms is the greatest ever of all TV hospital dramas. Also the characters are strong and brilliant storylines. I loved it. 🙏🏾❤️🧑🏾‍⚕️👩🏼‍⚕️👨🏽‍⚕️👨🏻‍⚕️

I've always wondered: Why does Carter look so sad/serious when he's looking at the hospital? Mark, John, Susan, Doug, Peter, Carol, these were the main characters of ER.. When the main cast started to crumble away, they should have ended the entire show in my opinion, it then lost all of it's beauty and power. I'm currently rewatching on Prime, but once I'll get to that point, I think I'm gonna end it. I can't tell you guys who big of a part of my life this show was when I was 18-20 years old, really and truly this is the best show ever made in the entire history Television.

ER was a good show, but I liked the series he did after this a lot more. Anyone who wants to see a great alien invasion series that is a lot more realistic than usual will love watching Falling Skies. Noah Wyle stars and is executive producer. Unfortunately instead of playing a doctor he played a history teacher who becomes a soldier. It ran for 5 seasons and was allowed to end when the story was over, so there was none of that ending on a cliffhanger bullshit. Although I must admit the ending was pretty weak and low-effort compared to the rest of the show.

I respectfully disagree. the first two seasons where solid. It all becomes really weird and goes down hill from there. S4 and S5 where horrible. Also the show was never even remotely realistic. All women have fabulous shampo commercial hair. Mom and I joked about that a lot while watching the show. I would not recommend this show to people as a whole. S1 and S2 are still worth it though. S1 especialy. Though in the end people should just research what the show is about and decide for themselves if it's their thing. Me personaly couldnt stand how the protagonist and his sons all became some kind of gary stu type characters while the women where terrible and the other male characters irrelevant except for 2 of them (Pope, who gets ruined in s5, and a guy who's name I forgot but starts as a hard ass but then joins then protag fam ass kissing fan club). ER is MUCH better. Also the librarians which has him in it from time to time (and main in the movies) is much more fun.

@@amberanime When I say realistic I mean compared to the usual alien invasion stuff. At least here they were constantly dealing with finding enough food, finding new places to live; they started covering the hoods of the vehicles to help hide their infrared signature, etc. They even spent time on the trauma the children developed from living like that. Again, far from perfect, but above average. As for the women, well what can I say. They definitely cast some gorgeous ones. The doctor, her med student, and the half alien were all just stunning. The g/f turned alien and Mira Sorvino looked pretty good too. The few people who have actually watched it after I told them I thought it was good liked it too. It's too bad you didn't like it as much as I did, but hopefully you liked it enough that you don't wish you could get the time back spent watching it. ;-)
