this was the saddest episode of ER I saw

Derek Wall his last several episodes of ER were all sad. I’m pretty sure I soaked my shirt watching those episodes on Hulu!! But this scene should have been included, it could have been a big turning point for Rachel.

It feels like the actual story ended when Mark died. After that it mostly turned into catastrophe of the week.

Agreed. I stopped watching after Mark died. Still liked Carter and Benton, when he appeared, but I couldn’t get into the show anymore.

Rachel was too young at a time to understand why her mum and dad split up. Then why her dad was going out with other woman.

He didn't tell her that her mother had an affair

Some feel like Mark belonged with Susan but that it is too predictable. Elizabeth was refreshing and who he needed.

I believe that some things, not all, happen for a reason. And if things had not had happened the way they did with us, my ex would not have her beautiful little boy now.

i hate how Rachel acts in this episode Mark literally says ' Yo I'm gonna die early and i wanna spend time with you and stuff ' and she just runs past him

Man, I'm sorry if this seems insensitive, but it must SUCK to be a doctor, and slowly dying, and know all the stages leading up to death, and then experiencing these stages. Because you roughly know how much longer you have left. :( ... Also, I miss ER.

Its not insensitive. I thought the same thing. And this is just as sad for me now as it was then.

@BentHenny I think that was the ultimate factor. They were having troubles beforehand with their jobs and whatnot, but I believe she cheated on him and then they just kind of threw up their hands and gave up.
@lauraschoenborn35445 жыл бұрын
SickSilckMan Mark was sincerely trying to Fix the marriage. I thought she was too until she started screwing her coworker. It was so sad though the episodes passing, when they couldn’t have a civil conversation without fighting. But I agree with you, neither one was good at Compromise, Mark was trying to with commuting from Milwaukee. Jenn could have done that as well though. I think Mark spending nights in Chicago was when Jenn gave up.
@jane19755 жыл бұрын
Laura Schoenborn Yeah, all the compromise was on his side, she didn’t commute to Chicago to be will him that much, she really messed him about and wanted him to give us his job to go with her. I am glad they split up, she messed him about and that he found Elizabeth.

christy19802660123 yes!! I know people did not like her, but she played the role of a rebellious teenager who was struggling with losing her father so well. The one episode I think she definitely should have won an award for was when Ella overdosed. The shock, horror, guilt, and worry for her sister honestly made me feel sorry for her. She did not realize that Ella would get ahold of them, and felt awful when she realized it.

@@lauraschoenborn3544 true and yes she did play the role very well in a way it kinda reminded me of my brother as rellbouis teenager when our mom werent together especially there alot blame from brother thinking mom left on him a whim so it seems i was always playing the older sister and the worried parent afraid of what trouble he get into when he started drinking at 16 and partying in bars so i can relate as for our dad he died in 2018 at age 80.
