The button on my Sears (2008) is purple. The process worked for me. After the 7-second code erase, neither of my remotes worked. I did the code reset on the first opener and it worked on that one, but not on the second. Then I did the reset on the second and it worked. Done. Thanks!

And what happens when this does NOT erase the codes? It’s supposed to, but my units (chamberlain) are not resetting

I’ve never run into one that wouldn’t reset, if it’s not doing it there must be something wrong with the logic board itself if I had to guess

@@GarageDoorGuidance just found out it’s a pre-93 issue. Newer remotes somehow override the system once programmed, then ANY remote will open your doors and there isn’t a way to fix it. The unit will no longer reset codes

Just push the red square ( don’t hold it ) then push your remote button and that’s it
