I knew bc I'm a Texas rock and roll blues fan. Another person involved was the one and only fine guitarist Bobby Mack. Not many knew how much he influenced the SRV sound

Doyle Bramhall Sr. was a legend and outstanding drummer. Wrote a lot of SRV hits. Great performer and greatly missed.

I got to jam once with Doyle in a tiny Oyster bar in Santa Rosa. Had no real idea who he was. Unusual to learn how to play upside down and backwards.
