I had one of these back in the day, they were absolutely amazing decks (i had a Knox too and a couple of the SMA ones). I remember the old ones had various versions of the cruise missile concave on different decks. So rad. I'll be keeping my eyes (no pun intended) peeled for this one.

I never really liked the big shaped boards until I saw how much fun these guys make them look. I didn't think you could do the same tricks that you can with a regular board, they bring like a whole new level to the fun of skating.

I love that this is finally available and also the Kevin Braun Everslick. I’m about to order both decks and some big 60mm Hot Juice Orange OJ wheels and make the Dressen a sick cruiser. All those videos of John Gardner cruising around NYC with those OJs inspired me to get a set.

The original was one of my favourite boards as a kid, though I also really loved the Tom Knox everslick, I'd love to see you all bring that one back too (the one with the large Santa Cruz logo across the bottom rather than on the strip). When this deck comes out I hope they can get it at Mocean Skateshop in Portland ME, because I would definitely pick one up.

There was a reissue in blue....i bought one and a Tom Knox. They feels nice with my original '90 Tom Knox everslick.

Santa Cruz has been making the raddest boards since I was a kid. I was given a Jeff Kendall graffiti board in 1990 when my neighboor was moving and he didnt skateboard. To this day it is still my favorite deck. Winkowski still skates the Jeff Kendall pro board

I had one of these in South Africa in the early 90`s when they first came out...great street deck, sadly I snapped it doing late shove`s down 8 stairs...the SMA Petersen Everslick was also a bad ass deck...

Had an ever slick back in 92. Did a judo air off a launch ramp and it cracked in half after being only 2 weeks old. Weighed a buck 25 back then, hopefully they make them a lot better today.

One of the most remarkable features of the original, to my memory, was the steep, abrupt concave (including nose/tail transitions). Everyone who rode it was like, "dude, what the hell is going on with this concave?" It was also a tank (even for its time) and I got mine before puberty; I was like 85 pounds and trying to learn impossibles on that thing, lol. But years later, I came to really appreciate a tank-deck, and I think my time/experience barging around on this board helped with that. What would make this setup complete would be Z-roller trucks (and graphite powder that opens up in your backpack).

yo i knew a guy that had some old boards.he was from the original old school. back in the 80s when i first started me and my friend were outsifde skating and we knew the guy a little from seeing him around. he asked to see my board and he was spinning 360s and all this other stuff. i know about z roller trucks from the trunk full of magazines he gave me from the 70 s. he ended up getting a kendall deck and skating with us now and then. duide was baked as shit though lol

Thanks for the cool video! Reminds me a lot of the Santa Cruz deck I had in 1993-1994. The shape is very similar to this Eric Dreesen one but I always thought I had the Jeff Kendall deck. Is that possible at all? It was a Santa Cruz everslick deck all black in the background with the big white characters and some red contour to the characters. If you can help me guess which deck it was (Dressen or Kendall) I would be truly stoked. By the way I just ordered the new everslick deck no pattern hand 8.5, trying to bring back those sensations and precious memories :)

Don't know if I'm just neurotic or what but I'm picky about my trucks. I run Ace on decks with a wheelbase larger than 14.25 and Indys on anything smaller. My trucks are either the same size as board but some sizes like 8.25 or 9-10 I ride a size smaller trucks. I've just always been that way. Like to change my setups everyone now and then. I just don't know why.
