Where did the music go? This was the jam back in the day. Eric Gable and Regina Belle both were underrated singers I was a new born when this song came. I'm wonder why my radio station doesn't ever play this on the Quiet Storm at night Mix 101.9 they play same songs back to back every night whether listen to this kind of songs music has gone downhill over the years. Now in my early 30s can listen to this music all day without get tired him and Johnny Gill were the best male singers ever in the late 80s and early 90s.
@dwilliams78958 ай бұрын
True! That Regina Belle was hitting! Every track on that 1989 album/tape! I played da hell out of that tape and Keith sweat's first tape!
@saj812 жыл бұрын
Here is the thing. Eric Gable is one of those artists that can sing, might have one good single off an album, a few good tracks here and there and that's it. The rest of the music is generic R&B tracks that you can listen to once and never need to hear again, and Quiet Storm attempts that don't quite make it because they're not as hot as the single that did make it. He never really had a chance to gain a loyal fanbase or make that must-have album, but that's the way it goes sometimes.

Back in the day when the brothers had style and no ugly saggy pants looking like a chicken bone all hunched over trying to keep those pants up and get down the street without them falling down or tripping. I miss when black men used to sang like that. Not even so much the style of singing, but the tone of voices. Nowadays, folks have that same lil' whiny, mediocre, autotune tone and you can barely decipher who's who and what's what. Every artist should have they own unique tone of voice. Anyhow, this is a nice record. Eric can sing.
