The actor that plays Sid is SO GOOD, he's going to go on to do more brilliant things. He's such a great actor! Side note- the hour long episode is gonna be phenomenal, I can't wait!! While I know it means Kieron's leaving for a while, the episode is going to be powerful!!

Not the most important part of the story but when Sid replied ‘Girls?!’ and Ste asked him how did he think he ended up with 3 kids; that part was hilarious. Wished that conversation could have gone on a little longer.

Of course they are. Ste in a car with Leela and Peri. They understand that he is up to something and wants to escape. I don´t understand that HO shows in the soap that Prevent is allowing Ste to go back to them. So disappointing to watch.

There are all brilliant and I loved them am been the massive massive fans of the far right group back in 2019 and the characters Johnny and Stuart I wonder if you got some once when Steven Hay did his round the circle and used his voice for everyone. The love boat. Stuart smacked his own son. Johnny and Stuart went to the pub. Johnny and Stuart smashes the bike that’s would be great if you have got them

It seems strange that Stuart wouldn´t let Jonny go to hospital. Even a little knifestab has to be checked. Of course Jonny is testing Ste´s loyalty. Nothing else make sense. I can´t express enough how disappointed I am with this storyline and this end when Prevent has allowed Ste to go back to the group twice now. Ste has at least done something right as he is still alive so he must have been a little clever to have been able to survive so far but Ste often makes stupid decisions and it ends badly and he may think that Jonny actually wants to get out and tell him about his own plans. Sid could go against his own father ( he would have other people in the village that would help and support him) but is he brave enough to do that to save lifes?

That is the worse moaning I have ever seen. Clearly Jonny is faking it. And after what Sid said, Ste should be very careful not to fall for this kind of trick. But this being Hollyoaks, fall for it probably is exactly what he will do. Someone in his situation in real life, would not.

Unfortunately Ste is going to fall for it, thus leading to his temporary exit from Hollyoaks. You've got to admit, there has been some AMAZING acting going on, though. Edit- nice to hear from you again, mate! Been missing your intellectual comments very much :)

@@ChelseyLinden Trust me, had you been in Ste`s shoes, and after what Stuart made you do to Jed, what Sid just had told you about his father always finding a way to punish those who let him down, it would have taken a lot more than this before you even dared considering if Jonny wanted out for real. You`d be expecting some kind of trick to fool you into a false sense of security. So it would have taken a lot more than just this to convince you, and to confide in Jonny about Prevent.

@@ChelseyLinden Don`t sell yourself short. ANYONE can be tricked by anything - if the conditions are right. How else would manufacturers of underwear be able to sell what is mostly identical pieces of cotton at a much higher price than many of their competitors? It is the idea/wish people by buying the more expensive will reveal themselves to be more successful and have more style that enables Bjørn Borg, Hugo Boss, Calvin Klein and more to maintain the position and reputation they have. Without the label names visibly on the products, most people would not be able to tell the different brands apart. It is also a fact that most people tend to want to believe good things about others. So since Jonny moving away from his extremist ideas and attitudes is something you would have liked to see, because you want that to be true, you are more than willing to believe he is being genuine. But someone like Ste can , because of his situation, not afford to take that chance. For him survival instinct and caution would be the factors motivating his thinking. So even if he wanted to believe Jonny was genuine, he could not have afforded to take that chance, and either would have tried to calm Jonny down so he stopped saying what he said - or even have told Stuart, out of fear it could be a trick. Remember they did something similar when one of the guys in the group approached Ste pretending to be a police detective. back when Ste first was accepted into the gang.

You guys are talking about limited options but how many soaps do you guys know with so many gay or bi characters on at any given time. There’s usually just 2, who are coupled up with the occasional recurring or guest spot for some type of triangle storyline. Hollyoaks has queers in FOUR separate storylines, all of them in the title sequence, and only one of the storylines has to do with coming out. I will always love them for that. And we haven’t even addressed the trans and lesbian characters.

Ste, you not only had a stepdad who bullied and beat you. You also had Brendan who did the same. Too bad you didn’t run away from him. Brendan didn’t love you anymore than Terry did; you don’t love someone you use as a punching bag and you, more than most, know that full well. What both Terry and Brendan did was abuse.

Ste was trying to win Sid over to his side by making Sid identify with him because of what they had in common, physically abusive and bullying father figures. Brendan would not have worked for that purpose. But seriously, you have to stop obsess about Brendan - a character that hasn`t been on the show for around a decade, and which you also tend to simplify the psyche of a little too much for it to do truth to justice. Fact of the matter is Ste, just like Sid here now identifies with Ste because of what they have in common, identified his former self with Brendan, and besides being they younger of them, was the one to both help Brendan out of the closet and encouraged him, together with Brendan`s sister, to try to change his violent and aggressive behavior. Ste himself was brutally violent towards Amy long before Brendan was on the scene. Therefore it is unfair of you to use Brendan`s violent acts and aggressive behavior against him, and painting Ste out to just be his victim. Fact of the matter is Ste, when he met Brendan, just had gotten further down the road of transformation, which it was Ste and Brendan`s sister Shirley who encouraged and helped Brendan to start on. So to accuse Brendan for not having gotten as far as Ste had himself, is just as unfair as to blame the fire departement your house is still on a fire after you have called them. Just as the firefighters needs some time to get themselves and their equipment to the fire, and to put it out, Brendan needed time to combat his aggressiveness and violent tendencies. Ste had a solid head start on him, and therefore was the one best equipped to help and support Brendan through the process. Something Ste was wiling to, despite being aware he could subject himself to risks doing so, cause he loved Brendan, wanted to help him so their relationship could last and they both could be happy - and trusted Brendan wanted the same. Both Ste and Brendan was a product of the less than ideal childhood and upbringing they had had. And both of them also had that in common that they managed to put that version of themselves in the past. Ste by being taken under the wing by Tony, and gradually learning to become a chef. Brendan by Ste helping him accept the fact he was gay, and his sister Shirley continue to loving him, despite being aware of that fact. So both the relationship between, and the personalities of, Ste and Brendan are a little more complicated than your Brendan brutal bully and Ste innocent victim claim suggests.
