Hey guys, I just found today. I'm headed back to Spain in March for a 2 week vacation. It'll be my third time there. My paternal roots are in the Girona region. I love Spain. I also like to like slow travel. At the age of 64, I gotta.😂

Minute 9:00 Spain didn't have have colonies but "virreinatos" which were like offshore provinces ruled by a 'virrey' with semi-autonomous status. Note that Queen lsabel banned by law the slavery of lndians (properly speaking, Native Americans) already in the XVl century.

Sevilla claramente es una de las ciudades mas bonitas de España.la impresionante catedral la mas grande del mundo en estilo gotico con la bellisima Giralda y la tumba de Colon ; el Archivo de Indias la mayor concentracion de documentos sobre America en el mismo sitio desde el siglo 15 a principios del 19 ; la sin igual Plaza de España ; Triana el barrio de Santa Cruz el parque de Maria Luisa la modernidad de la cinstruccion famosa las llamadas " setas" or supuesto el Flamenco su comida etc..es ta claro qoe no solo es una de las ciudades mas bonitas de España.sino del mundo

Great video. Just a nounce: Spain did not have colonies in America. All Americans, including indians, had the Spanish citizenship, had representatives in the Parliament and even one of them (from Colombia) became chief of state (his name was Joaquín de Mosquera y Figueroa) . Besides they were richer than the Iberian Peninsula's inhabitants. Both things do not occur when there is a metropolis and a colony

@@artelandia1007 Para mi ,no . Cordoba fue la capital de la Andalucia romana y la capital de la España andalusi, durante varios siglos , cuando el califato . Y está llena de monumentos por todas partes , y de ricncones historicos . , y merece su reconociiento.. Cordoba , como capital de la Betica , fue declarada CIudad Patricia , lo cuál era un distintivo muy importante en el Imperio Romano. Y cuando el Califato , fue una de las ciudades mas importantes , culturalemente hablando , de la Edad Media. , en todo el mundo , a la altura de Constantinopla.

@@rafeldi55155 Hispania fue la cuna de varios emperadores romanos como Adriano, Trajano, Marco Aurelio y Teodosio. A 7 km de Sevilla se encuentra Itálica, lugar de nacimiento de Adriano y Trajano.

Cordoba tambien merece mucho la pena. Esta llena de misticismo y encanto . Fue la capital de la Andalucia romana y la capital de la España andalusí , y tambien tuvo muy importante cultura judia , de hecho su barrio antiguo mas importante se llama La Juderia .

Your videos are amazing - love how clear they are & your enthusiasm for the places you're visiting! My husband and I quit our jobs and moved to Ecuador for a few months, 10 years ago. Though we live in the U.S., we've visited several of the places you two have (though not nearly as many - would love to!) You are wrong! In fact, there are 50 provinces in Spain plus the 2 autonomous cities, Ceuta and Melilla. So 52 entities in total

Sevilla es una ciudad milenaria de casi 3000 mil años , nada que ver con san Sebastián y Bilbao , una ciudad, región de pescadores y pastores que hasta el s. XIX no se desarrollo industrialmente y reconstruida en esa época , por su destrucción en la época , guerras napoleónicas.
