I just replaced a White Rodgers 36E 22 202 with a White Rodgers Model: 36J23-502 We’ll see if they make em like they used to.

i just had to replace mine. im glad hunnywell still makes them for vintage furnaces . hav a old American Standard furnace from 1951

Hi, on regular basis my furnace stars and it runs for around 30 seconds and than once pilot lamp turns red, gas release valve releases gas. Lately when I'm having problem in my furnace that gas release valve releases gas ad after 5 second it shuts off gas, it keep doing that for 3 times and after that furnace turns off than I have to keep trying it till it works, can you please tell me do I need to change gas release valve or there is something else wrong in furnace mother board and not in valv

honeywell vr8205h 8016 Buzzing or Clicking sound... very loud. furnace is running find other then the valve noise. I know that it is GOING to fail if something is not done. Im getting solid 24vac at the connector when it fires. Can this valve be bench tested by applying 24vac direct from a 24v transformer? If it still buzzes/clicks without no gas pressure or other feedback variables, wouldn't that indicate that the coil is indeed bad?

@Clown Whisper I am curious how things went. I assume you had to replace it, did you do it yourself or a company?

@@lh98 I ended up replacing that one yes it was very easy my brother-in-law helped me but I really could have done it myself it only took a few minutes. I had another one do the same thing and all I did was tap on it a few times and it's been running for three years now without a problem. This is in a different house

All you should need to find a replacement part is model and serial numbers of your furnace. Any good counter guy can get you all you need with those numbers.
