The fjords on the east coast are amazing pearls in Iceland that very few people explore. Most of the coast is inaccessible and has never been farmed or settled as building roads around there usually means that you need to drill a hole through the mountain. Your visit to Hellisfjörður is an example, there was a whaling station there around 1870-1890 that was operated by Det Danske Fiskeriselskabet. Records (the church registry) have a single family living there in 1904, but nothing after that.... Amazing view you gave us with your footage. Thank you Erik
