Great walk around. It's unbelievable how little of space there is in the cockpit. I know if it was me stepping over the wing to get in and out, I'd definitely have a calf charlie horse. 😂 Thanks for another Great video Erik!!

The rules require it weighs no less than 500lb empty. Pilot must be 160lb (with 20lbs of chute and helmet) or use ballast to make up. No less than 66ft wing area. This equates to 10lb/ft^2 area. They begin a race with minimum 5 gallons (30lbs) of fuel. There is also oil weight, 4 quart or 1 gallon is 7lbs. So they are all going to be over 700lbs at race start. Most race planes are probably closer to or over 800lbs.
