@@StaceTacularAndSuch Erik is right, we bite, but only when we feel we need to. That bite, however, is not pleasant to feel. One factor of the ENFP is some serious rage, I don't know another type that is so open about thier anger as ENFP's. We WANT to love the world, we are built to love the world, we don't actually like that side of our personality at least when it is used to hurt someone. When our rage is focused on HELPING someone, well that's a whole different story. People say we are NOT the Campaigners or the bards, or the champions but, we are. One important caveat, We NEED to believe in your cause. If we do not believe in what you stand for, or feel you do not believe it yourself, it is nothing to us.

Aah, the interruptive investigative communication style got me, where I had to go to the keyboard and write this comment, to say that I 100% agree with this. When talking people skip over details or leave paths unexplored, I will usually curiously interrupt and investigate more to hear the full story. I already noticed this behaviour on myself. And also the intuitive sentence building on the go. I start a sentence, aiming in a direction where I want to go with that sentence, but I try to find the right words as I go, sometimes leading to a bit of chaotic path in the sentence structure. And yes, you get my emotions with it, as I like to open my heart and be vulnerable with it there is no need for me to hide my emotions ( except in situations where the emotions would obviously make things unnecessarily worse )

Yes to struggle with own way to make words of the thought = inward palms Struggling to make words that will be the right meaning for others to interpret = outward palms At least, that is, for me. When I get too excited, my brain turns the page before my mouth is ready. Internal rewind, where was I again? > inward palms If I'm speaking with someone I've known for a while and I try express my feelings and understandings... palms out every time. If I'm restarting and pausing, then I will move my hands like I'm pushing a box away from me. And blow out as well. Physical mannerisms and body language speak volumes. Being able to listen as well as see what you're doing with your hands, eyes, facial expressions while you're speaking; makes what you're saying that much more... Real. Si eyes are hilariously close together and in there, but Ni is where I feel like I can pause and meet something real. Ne eyes, my eyes do what my hubs say is a dance, he always asks me what I’m thinking when they move and I don’t always know since they have already moved and the hand gestures each type really does have unique hand gestures. What is the enfp thing? Is it a label or is it a personality, and how do you determine who is enfp.
@rodrigomachado52913 жыл бұрын
My strongest cognitive function as an ENFP was extroverted intuition IIRC. But all other functions change, don't they? Because my extroverted thinking is by far my worst of all traits. What does it mean?
@chickadddee3 жыл бұрын
Hey, I'm no expert but from what I know: your other functions don't change as in switch places or disappear, but they can develop and you get a handle on them as you get older. Te is good, not bad. It is about logic that is relevant to the external, (my place is uber organised for example!). You can organize teams well, and make plans etc., but just be careful not to fall into it when you are stressed, you will appear super bossy and barky.

@@chickadddee thanks for the answer with such great analysis, but I'm reading my other post now and I don't know if I made myself clear... Extroverted thinking is Te right? When I said it was my worst trait I meant it was my least developed one. Is this what you understood by my ambiguous (unintentionally) message? Or considering this do you have another view now?
@rodrigomachado52913 жыл бұрын
@@chickadddee and half of your analysis fits me well (me being horribly brutal when anger explosion comes), but the first part about being organized is my complete opposite... My life is a mess, pure chaos with a lot of difficulty to run it even a little smoothly...
@chickadddee3 жыл бұрын
@@rodrigomachado5291 ok, I think I got that. Well, it could be that you are working out your Fi still, figuring out your values, yourself. Ne is a given. Fi takes some reflection, and then Te will be easier once you have strong interests and a direction. Every type gets frustrated it's ok....we just have to learn how to manage stress. It doesn't have to be perfect. One thing at a time 🙂👍
@chickadddee3 жыл бұрын
@@rodrigomachado5291 I read somewhere that Te isn't developed until our 30s but I bet that depends on the person and how willing we are to try a different way.... (Te is partially about trying something good that helped someone else just to see if it works. Te isn't as personal as Fi.) We get mad because we're putting energy into something that's hard, but also it's not meaningful enough. So back to Fi 🤔😁

Hey, I'm an INFP, and I'm in love with an ENFP. What should I do? Help!

If you are an infp basically you don't have Many things to do be yourself first i don't know what type of enfp you wanna date but generally enfp like someone who is intelligent , who listen to them, who see through their sunshine personnality , who like or at last accepte their awkward personnality , if you are a bit weird they like it too , be nice gentle but sincère, challenge their thoughs gently is cool too , but keep a bit a mystery they like mystery a lot ,they like surprise ,original and aventurous date never be clingy , enjoy life they don't enjoy people that are Always pessimist anyway the most important think is be natural if she finds that you are being Fake she will propably run...don't forget they are generally very romantic

@@rebornbutterfly1663 Thank you so much, your answer is amazing! I love listening to him and I wholeheartedly accept his weird personality, but I don't know if he knows that. I was pretty sure he's an ENFP, but I made him take the test and he's actually INFP. Oh no, hahaha. My relationship is very complicated with him. I am both a close friend and a stranger. Basically all I do right now is maintaining not to seem creepy, haha. We live thousands of kilometers away, buy he seems to get me. Well, no wonder if he's an INFP. Of course he understands me, as we think in the exact same way. He lives in Québec, btw. You seem like you speak french yourself :) I love French now! Sorry for sharing all of these, I know it's annoying. Have a nice day, kind person :)

Someone who would listen, someone who is trustworthy, make sure you always give them insurance to build trust that they can be with you forever. Just be cute, enfp love adoring. Be accepting. Be fun and not always so stuck with strict rules. ENFP are curious and freedom lovers.

ENFP Eyes. Blue, Green, Blue-Green, Hazel... Is this true? It's just something I've noticed from a lot of ENFP creators and my own hazel eyes. Just wondering if I'm making that up or not. Love your insights on us Erik. Thanx!

The young ENFP could learn how to be more selective to information that comes to them. I'm an experimented ENFP that screwed up by listening and reading everybody and not imposing boundaries. Be aware but not that aware. It is painful. Let me carry that burden for you.

With enfps being so curious and plotting a course through the world, it's no wonder they often test as intjs. I tested as one for over 20 years. Recently, I got typed as an enfp! Intuition as the first function and fi, te being so high in the stack, also adds to the similarities. Do you find this happens often?
