"Dere" is basically the affection aspect of all those character tropes, while the other part describes the other character trait. So Tsundere for example is kind of like Tsun (cold/blunt) and then dere (sweet/affectionate). So there you have Tsundere. He was basically saying, money can't but love or it can't win over someone's heart lol.

Ep was fire really good adaptation of the LN also Eris will be with Rudy for a bit from here on out but we will most likely get episodes on Sylphy and Roxy as well since they are very important to the story. I love all three girls equally and they all have their charms. The story is gonna be fire from here on out!

That was incredible. can't wait to see just how far they get in this season. definitely my favorite isekai to date, and i've seen a TON of them. also the scene you were talking about with the game? it's in episode 2, and there are a pair of girls, with red(human?) and green hair(elf, maybe demon). They weren't eris and slyphy, but it'd be cool if it were. it's got a bluray tag and everything. (Ep 2, 0:47)

Also, it wasn't really mentioned I don't think... but ALL branches of the Greyat family has some sort of perversion and preference in their blood. Eris's part of the bloodline is into some Kemonomimi stuff a lot, to the point where the maids are even expected to drop clothes on call... It's usually the guys of that branch that are into that stuff, but some of the girls might be too. But the Greyat bloodline extends so far that Eris and Rudy are barely related. It's that distant.

Just FYI they skipped a lot of the source material in this episode (some important, some not) (though it prob won't effect the story too much), and Rudi's monologs were cut extremely short. also I think Ghislaine's name is pronounced "G" - "slain" but I could be wrong. but overall I still think this episode was amazing and I can't wait for more!

Well for sure the anime and the source material isnt pulling any punches. The reson why its called the grandfather of reincanation isekais is that most of the stuff that came after it while taking inspiration (or blatantly coying plotpoints) were heavyly watered down compared to it..... The atention to details, belivable worldbuilding without BS RPG stats and skills (not that i dislike spider were that BS is actually inteligently woven into the storryplot)and flashed out characters are VERY rare to find.

@@demerit5120 If you read the LN then you know the injustice the manga did. LN spoilers ahead They skipped a very important part of the story. Imagine going from Dragon ball when Goku meets Master Roshi and skipping ahead until the Cell Saga. I exaggerate but the point is the skip misses out on several story points and character intros and even skips how rudy gets one of his major abilities; they literally jumped something like Vol 2 to Vol 8 or 9 of the LN; jumping back in the mid of a scene... I call it a SIN because of how it ruins all the build up for Eris's change and the intro of a Superd character. It skipped the event that leads to a future character even existing; and removes how Rudy meets Hitogami one of the major characters of the series. Treating all they skipped as if flash backs are good enough for it if they choose to keep any of it is a TOTAL DIP SHIT decision on the manga crafters part. Plus it skipped the entirety of an adventure on the **c**ng Demon continent including Rudy and Eris meeting Roxys family and learning about her past before leaving the continent; This is not even everything important.

Not exactly. While they technically are related, they are closer to like 10th cousins. They are very distant relatives. To the point where, even noble family’s which try to stick to one name, split. The greyrat family has four branches. They would be cousins if Eris was a Notos Greyrat. However, she is a Boreas Greyrat. We don’t know the connections, but it’s past her grandfather, so the closest relation could be a great grandparent or beyond. And even then, we don’t meet the other two Greyrat family branches, so I’m going to assume they are lesser branches that split off later. Which means we can assume this gets to the point of ancestry. They are distant related
