Good memories of a brilliant radio station bob Stewart brings back memories for me thankyou and sadly missed

Bob's voice was the first DJ voice I ever heard on the radio when I was a little boy. I was soon infected with the "Radio Virus" and started imitating him, though I didn't know a single English word by the time! 25 years later I met him in Luxembourg! I will never forget him!

Sad to hear of Bob's passing. Whenever I think of my years in LUX and Radio Luxembourg, my thoughts always turned to Bob. He had a wonderful voice for radio. I first listened to RTL when in the army stationed in Wurzburg, West Germany, 73-75. Then went on to work in Luxembourg 75-81. I must admit, when I first met Bob, my brain had a difficult time matching that resonating voice with the person I saw. I liked Bob a lot. He was always friendly and a good guy when we got together. Thanks for all the great memories, Bob. Rest in Peace.

The voice of Radio Luxembourg Only found out of Bobs passing yesterday (15/4/19). Sad to learn Bob is no longer with us Gone to the station IN the stars. Sleep well Bob and thanks for the years of entertainment.

Back in the 1980s l had several conversations with Bob about various topics and I just found him a really cool guy and great conversationist and l have missed the chats that I had with him since the close of the Great 208 . Radio station Radio Luxembourg.... Even now I still listen to the jingles and other snippets that people have posted.. in my opinion It's still good !!! The late Great 208 R I P Bob cheers Bryan
