When I was a kid in the 90's the only time I could ever see the Ernest movies were when they aired on TV, my parents didn't like to rent movies very often. I always loved them so much, they were so hilarious and nonsensical and especially because I would rarely ever see one or even knew how many existed, the Ernest series always had a bit of mysticism to it. Whenever I did get lucky enough to be around when it was airing I knew I was in for a great light-hearted movie. I haven't however seen them since those days and now that's it's been more than 20 years I wonder how they hold up!
