Thank you. Every tech issue you guys come up with should be on KZbin. I might also suggest that if someone has this problem while riding, they should take measures to not allow the internal part of the wire to recede into the frame down tube. Might be a hassle trying to fish it out later. I agree with Chris Diesenbruch: bring a kit as part of any riding regimine. Knowing your bike should be like knowing your hair color, since there are very few shops willing to work on other brands they don't sell, except for the bikey parts. I also recommend that owners should turn the bike over and observe that the bottom end of the battery tube/downtube housing is open to the weather and road grime. All the wires come out of the control unit at that location. I sealed the opening with a GOOD quality electrical tape to keep the innards clean and dry, and plan on keeping an eye on that spot often to maintain fresh tape. I also removed the battery and , using a q-tip, applied a generous coating of dialectric grease on the male prongs that slide into the bottom of the battery as you re-install it - very carefully to aviod bending those prongs. This will help to prevent weather corrosion from causing electrical arc and possible shorting at those six connections. It is the heart of the bike. Take care of the spots you can't see. Only having ridden 120 miles on my 700XR, I can't really rate it for anything other than initial impressions. But, so far, so good. It's very stable, sturdy, and capable for the price.

Worked perfectly on my Engwe Engine Pro 750 2022 with hydraulic brakes! The throttle pushed the magnet from the brake in. Thanks!

Had this issue a few weeks ago, a few turns with a 2mm Allen wrench fixed it. Personally I would recommend keeping a multi tool in a saddlebag and trying that before unplugging the wires. I just think it's easier although it is good for people to see which plugs are which. I'm curious about the tire with the whitewall reflector....

I'm having this issue. I can't adjust the magnets but when I jig with a piece of metal in between it solves it. Untill i use my brakes again... So my question is. Is it save to unplug these sensors and keep it that way? Does the bike still work if i do that?

Please i need your help. I own engwe ep 2 pro. I wrote to official support engwe that I have a huge problem with an error 25. I followed the troubleshooting instructions, I tried everything but without success. I disconnected all the connectors twice, there's still error 25 on screen and back light is on. I tried factory reset but without success.(does not allow anything, only power on and off.

Modern ebikes are full of electronic. And this is not good.
@Ride1Up2 жыл бұрын
Our ebikes have modular components and can the troubleshooting can be streamlined and parts easily replaced without any wiring or electrical skills. Just common hand tools and bike tools.

I have my R1U 700 for three years and this simple problem (EC 25) is my first issue. Great build quality all around, not a single screw or bolt has come loose.
