A lot of people are saying Bolivia is a shithole! I feel bad for Bolivia now : ( It's actually a very cool place with decent people who never did me any harm or ripped me off in anyway what so ever ( except taxi driver ). It's a harsh life up at 4000 meters on the Altoplano so the people are tough but believe it or not they are friendly enough and helpful. I will possibly go back next year with better Spanish so I can communicate better and hear their stories. Viva Bolivia!

Just for general information: Coca leaves don’t grow there... those people are most probably just villagers that live under a different law than that of western countries. 1. Ama Sua 2. Ama llulla 3. Ama quella. 1. Don’t be a thieve 2. Don’t be a liar 3. Don’t be lazy. The people there are know to be antisocial to strangers, this was caused by many shitty government that exploited the native communities, they are also protecting themselves from thieves that come to steal their cattle, crops, stuff etc. In top of that because of the latest government being anti U.S they probably were indoctrinated to not trust outsiders, especially if they look like “gringos” So, no, no narcos were chasing you, that’s actually in the Chapare in Cochabamba or rainforest in Pando, Beni. If you go there make no mistake you will probably get killed
