(Joan here). Some people on this feed are overly-judgmental about this couple. This is their money (and it's a lot), the choice they make the future they'll have to live with and in (and not the presenter's or this show's audience). They were clear about their wish list and also clear/factual about their feedback. They were appreciative of their time with both Nikki and the show. Just what is wrong with any of that? I have watched many ETTC shows and I find way too many people either down on the couple or down on the presenter. How about people start pulling back on the negative lens they view these programs through? I believe you will find lots to appreciate and enjoy without having to diss someone or something.

All you say is true and no one is doubting that. It is their money but what I think ppl have noticed is the very unappreciative and almost sultry attitude of these buyers. Ppl are commenting on this because is just seems so obviously misguided and entitled. That troubles some ppl and fair enough they can have their comment. You obviously feel differently and well you may. All entitled to their opinions.

We have been married for 40 years and the Mystery House would be perfect for us as the grounds are level, and having it energy efficient and flooded with light is so appealing. For a "Forever Home' as this couple wanted, I never believed it when we were a younger couple, but having things like level walking areas and reduced heating bills that means you can stay in your home as you get older during retirement.

Right? I completely agreed with them that the tiny windows in the bedrooms were not the best features but with 100k under their budget, they could have put in french windows. Oh well. Maybe to many maybes for them which I can understand.

Seems the couple really want a modern interior, maybe an old shell though, with land. Maybe a bigger barn conversion or farm with outbuildings? I liked the houses they saw, thought the mystery was great but maybe not for them. Nikki great as always.

If I had the budget, it would be hard to pick amongst any of these stunning homes and properties! Enjoyed watching the affable gentleman and his cerebral wife analyze the pros and cons of each locale including a possible foray into the alpaca industry. Alpacas and lamas always struck me as a semi-mystical creatures straight out of a Dr. Seuss story book. Almost surreal to see them running around the countryside and producing valuable fur that can be woven right into knit cap or sweater for everyday wear.

This couple is way to particular, husband, "I have to duck down or all I see is green."??? The mystery house is fab. Nicki was great, couple was thumbs down.

I agree. This video made me appreciate how great Nicki is. But this couple was SO negative. Is dissatisfaction their personal lifestyle? I feel sorry for the people who end up with them as neighbors!

I love Nikki and all the hosts of ETTC. I do however enjoy more the couples with a sense of hope and lightheartedness, since I'm watching the show for an escape and a positive vibe.

Money doesn’t buy everything, and every house is a compromise - even if you build it yourself. Trite, but true. When he mentioned bending down, I thought, that’s it, no hope. How hard is it to build a window dormer or three? Kinda hard to watch silliness after a bit.

The woman said "We want to look out and see something beautiful. That will do" That WILL DO? My gosh entitled rich woman, what do you want! House 1 is absolutely gorgeous! I'd take it in a heart beat if i could. SOME PEOPLE seem to have no idea how fortunate they really are!

I wonder why so many want to keep alpacas and how many understand the work involved. A glamping or B and B requires a lot of work. Do they have experience in hospitality? I can see how they want to see the future but how realistic is it?

Beautiful county, though most of it seems to be uphill! Ask for a house with some flat land. Lol #1 - love it! I don't even care the roof line would give me a crick in my neck! I want an alpaca! Bummer! My favorite! #2 - love this one too. I don't need a holiday let, but I suppose I'd have to have relatives visit often. Mystery - I like it, but I'm not sure why. The view is flat.

I thought this couple wanted light and airy without beams. I wonder why the producers do NOT stick with what the couples want/ As soos as I saw the older part of the house, I would have said no way lets move on to the next house.

750 000 £ 😐 you could build at least 3 of those in bulgaria, near the sea, with few decars of vine grapes each 😂 there is no superexpensive panoramic doors and windows that could cost a lot +. made of usual stone, very simple roof, no terraces or anything that could be expensive. obviously no artworks masterpieces in interior too. cheap and simple. but, i suppose if you compare it to prices at local market or some crappy apartment in berlin maybe its not even expensive😂
