Great review. I totally agree ....it's an excellent watch. It's the fleiger I will keep in my collection forever ..superb in every way...and then when you factor in the price it's just a phenomenal piece.

Couple things these reviews did not show me about this watch.....this is a MAN'S watch. This is not a dainty little wrist decoration. The modest-sized dial and case don't stand up and say HUGE on the wrist, but it's SOLID--and it wears quite nicely, but this is a rugged beater of a watch. RT calls it a tool watch, and...that's a pretty good description. The strap fits this as it's a good bit thicker than any leather strap I've seen. It's comfortable and required no break-in. It actually fits a need I didn't expect it to....I figured it was just a nice casual flieger, but it fits the niche for a rugged field watch too, and the 30 bar WR makes it better than most. Tough little bugger that wears nicely too.

(late comment) I've had one for a coupla weeks, the band is part of the IWC homage, in them it means it's swimmable leather, look at IWC buckles too. It's a homage completely, but toa fairly obscure watch. I love mine apart from a slightly gritty crowntube, in fact the crowntube has been the focus of a coupla complaints by reviewers.

I own this watch. It's easily worth more than double it's retail price. The heat treated hands are simply gorgeous. Also the hands are the exact length. I agree that it needs a bit more bgw9 layers. Another con is that they should have used the NH38 no date movement. But overall well worth it.

A proper no-date would be nice, but not a deal breaker for me. Not sure I would pay $200 for it....but definitely wouldn't bat an eye at a $160 price point.

@@arcaine101 true....not sure why they don't use them. Probably bigger discounts on the NH35....no date variant seems to be pretty rare in the Chinese watch scene for some reason. Thanks for the compliment!😁

The nh38 would definitely be great! I ordered one last week. Perhaps when it requires servicing in the future, I will replace the nh35 with the nh38. The nh38 is almost double the price of the nh35 on eBay if anyone is curious.

Yep, I bought this watch about a year ago as I've always wanted a fleiger b- uhr in particular a Stowa. These are wsy out of my price range unfortunately. I started looking around for a modern interpretation of it and found the Escapement Time watch. It looked just right and, I haven't looked back. Its real world time keeping isn't the best and loses about 2 minutes a week. I think having it set up properly would help but it would cost more than the watch is worth but, I will get it done one day. All in all, I'm very happy with my purchase.

Good flieger, I got mine almost a year ago. Was looking to purchase a year before that when it was $140US. Pulled the trigger as soon as the price dropped.

@@EscapeWheel By ETA you mean the chinese clone (PT5000) I suppose, I haven't found any "true" ETA Flieger from this brand on Ali. There seems to be a high beat version though sold under the brand name FOD / Merkur which rocks some kind of Seagull movement.

Finishing is very good. I would say the brushing is on par with San martin's brushing. it's very even and fine.
