The scene were the T-REX Roars and the sign comes down is my all time favorite scene... The Dinosaurs were all FEMALE! This was movie is 30 years old. I read the book and the movie was mindblowinig when I saw it twice. What an experience with the Dinosaurs real magic and Steven Spielberg directed this.. and The Lost World.

I think that Hammond is standing there wistful, sad because he knows that his dream of the Jurassic Theme Park is dead and his all of his beloved dinosaurs will die right along with it (or so he thought, before the sequels...).

Tim was nine years old. Would you trust a nine-year-old to hand you a gun? Plus, he had been electrocuted, so he might not have been quite stable. That's my two cents.

@@davidcolantuono3622 I see your point. But in that life-or-death situation would you NOT trust Tim-knowing you’ll all die badly? Especially if Tim can just shove the gun closer with his foot? Also, in hunting cultures 9 is plenty old enough to handle a gun if properly taught. Do I hunt, or teach kids to? HELL, NO. But it’s not uncommon in parts of the US. That said, I think this was a blooper they hoped no one would see, as they would have had to reshoot / re-edit the whole scene😱

4:32 The T-Rex find its way all the way to The Visitor Center too & could even enter it too, thats what i think triggered Alan to tell John that he decided to not endorse his park. And the theme song that plays is amazing, ESPECIALLY in Pal-Pitch as we hear in this clip. I think most movies, tv-shows, sounds & songs/musics sounds BETTER in Pal-Pitch, like they do in Scandinavia & UK. Jurassic Park SHOULD have been Oscar nominated & Oscar awarded for Best Music too together with Schindler's List. 💙

While this is my all-time favorite movie, there are two moments in this video clip that I despise. 1. Grant kicks one Raptor in the face. That's the reason it became angry and tried to take a snap a moment later. 2. The Tyrannosaurus Rex kills the two Raptors. I've said it many times before and I'll say it again. I am an #ObsessedRaptorFanatic, thanks to these movies. I'm in love with the Raptors. That's why I hate it when they are hurt or killed.

In this scene, it takes two grown adults to hold the door against the raptor. But the same thing was done by lex and her brother in the kitchen.. just one of small inconsistencies in an otherwise legendary movie

Years later, another raptor will jump on this _same_ T-Rex's back to help fight a common enemy. Jurassic Part became Marvel and I'm okay with the first film. In fact, I love it.
