This is pretty silly, IMO. Shouldn't it be up to the individual to decide what their instrument is "meant to do?" You know ... guitars weren't originally designed to play the blues. I've just bought the DM12R to accompany my Schmidt 8-Voice and I have to say, it's spectacularly good and a perfect partner to the Schmidt. That's quite an impressive accolade, particularly given that I paid around £16k for the Schmidt and just £554 for Behringer.

The REV2 does sound exciting but I don't think Dave Smith will be as generous as Uli. Hopefully they revise that synth a bit though too, only demo i heard was at NAMM and wasn't impressed.

The REV 2 is an amazing synth, if you don't like the P8 you won't like the Rev2. Keep in mind that it has 16 analogue voices, and tons of new features and effects. Honestly it's one of the best options for a keyboard player wanting to integrate it in a live setup where VCO/ DCO, digital or whatnot don't really matter, and especially don't need the vintage vibe, but rather synth power for versatility.

Because of the name "Behringer", which has become synonymous with cheap things that are of mediocre quality. They are really stepping up their game with synths though.

Ronnie Perez Not just synths. Their U-phoria interface line is very solid too. I currently have the 404hd and I feel no need to upgrade to a Focusrite or Presonus anytime soon. Suffice to say, Behringer’s really starting to grow on me as a company. I can’t wait to get my hands on the DeepMind or VC340 once I get better at synths, or even the Model D or Neutron just for the near future.

@Hunart 1:19 you start to play in the high key and you cut the video for the bass key. is it possible to do it live with the dm12? Looping high key, change sound and playing it over?

Unfortunately not. Deepmind isn`t multitimbral so you can play one sound at a time but with 12 notes of polyphony.
