Probably it's because most sagittarians and everyone I know are very generous people. I'm a Sagittarius sun sign and my dad was a Sagittarius. Darn generous! There are people who are just leeches and you have to guard yourself from them. I've given more to my family and mostly my kids. They're grown now and I don't think they care and I think they have forgotten, but I remember. When they were growing up I didn't want them to have too much, despite our families being able to get it for them, because I didn't want spoiled rotten brats. The thing that I came to understand once they got to be into their early twenties is that they're surrounded by other people and the environment in which they grow has a lot to do with how they turn out as adults. Both of my kids turned out to be pretty good but there are a whole lot more materialistic than I.

What you said about needing to be self reliant and starting from scratch was me all over. This felt like a personal reading! Can I just say to all my Mars in Virgo’s out there, especially if Mars rules your chart, it’s really important not to obsess over the little things. I have learned that a lot of the negative interpretations come from the "debilitating" placement of a water sign in a "fire" planet but the reality is that while aspects to Mars by other planets can help or hurt, there is ALWAYS a way to work with the energies, such as in having Mars in Pisces, so that the native can overcome by virtue of even a seemingly debilitating placement. Don't be so hard on yourself. That Venus in Virgo might be a bit of a stickler for perfection but it does find beauty in all this natural and of the earth. Parks, flowers, a beautiful sunny day makes your Venus happy. Getting things done right also makes your Venus happy. Remember that Virgo is a healer and likes to help (be of servitud) for others and gets joy (venus) out of doing small acts of kindness for others. Now in the 8th.....you can attract small kind acts towards yourself and feel a guilty pleasure because you enjoyed it so much 😉. Venus in the 2/8th always brings money, sex or debts. So either you are a stickler for paying your bills on time or you get a bit behind. I also have Mars in Cancer and I was abandoned, felt as though I wasn't good enough and didn't feel nurtured in an emotional way. I've learned to mother myself, to accept myself for the way that I am and not to be judgemental on myself. It's been a rough road to do that but I've got to a point where I have accepted that my mother is unable to give what I needed from her because of her complex issues. Over time I've forgiven her and I've had to learn to let go of my need for her to be a certain way, because I've learned to provide that self nurturing for myself and feel more secure in myself. Oddly enough my Mars is in my 2nd house which has helped me to focus on my self healing :)

My mum has her Mars in Cancer plus moon south node conjunction...she lost her parents and half of her siblings in a car accident when she was 11. My moon is in scorpio conj. Pluto i was abused by my both parents not have a good relationship with my family in general but i dont hate them or hold a grudge I just want to be out n away and have limited contact with my family maybe only in holidays. But my Sun is in Cancer when i go abroad to study i feel free but homesick and nostalgic also...its like a fucking joke.

@@Dr.Rawan007 I have Mars in Cancer, I did have a horrific relationship with my mother but I’ve been working through the karma and life is getting real good. Show your child that they have the right to exist as they are. Nurturing and comfort are not the same as control, and healthy boundaries with everyone in your life is important because that has an effect on the person you’re raising. If you are living in alignment and joy, your child will pick up on that energy and both your lives will be easier for it. Good luck and please have as much fun as possible being a mother, that matters!

Mars in Pisces here...Thanks Sky! Always solid info and such a pure, true resonating channelling and understanding of the pieces of ourselves. One thing I might add, and I could be wrong as a Cancer sun, Scorpio rising...but I've felt my Mars in Pisces causes me to often gets entangled in other peoples sorrows and trauma and pain or misfortune, trying to help continuously gets me taken advantage of (not materially, but emotionally or physically by having to be there etc.) This could also be the "fixer" thing you talked about!

I have learned (after many, MANY trials and tribulations) that unless you are a qualified therapist, minister, life coach, etc. The best you can do for others if you have a Mars in Pisces, is to listen. Allow others to vent or at least feel "heard". Often, its the best remedy. Then instead of advice, offer to send good vibes, strength, prayers, whatever you prefer but try to avoid actually getting involved as it will usually not be as helpful and only bring the Mars in Pisces person worry for others, unless of course, again, you are a qualified therapist, etc. Hope that helps. I have Mars and Pisces and I feel like you nailed it. Especially the bit about above human storyline. I’m the son of multiple Baptist ministers and have continued that practice outside of the church through my pursuit of songwriting and sound healing. I was always kind of raised with this expectation of actually trying to be Christlike. It was a blessing in many ways, but what they failed to teach me was anything about the real world, finances economics, and actually surviving lol. Weirdly I actually have the white Jesus look and people comment on that all the time and it feels very weird. My youngest daughter has Mars in Gemini 1 degree away from my Mercury in Gemini. We have such an amazing connection and riffing in conversation. Hi @@milaaquariosoulinc4994, I'm only guessing at this as am just a learner here with astrology but have Scorpio in Venus, Mars, Jupiter (and something else that I forget!) and feel like they often override my sun in 29 degrees Sag and Leo rising in terms of personality, people usually think I'm a water sign for some reason. I'm definitely more intense and serious than other Saggies I've met. I do feel like Mars in Scorp might temper Saggie's fire and steam the Ascendant if that makes any sense and make the fire seem less obvious. It's very interesting - I'm curious as to how does this inform your sun or ascendant?

I am aqua sun and Virgo earth asc with a water moon...I think the deep watery Scorpio in Mars makes my feelings more intense and I have been called to "calm' the waters of my feelings long enough to "listen" to the messages my asc and sun or midheaven callings are trying to tell me. Its an ongoing practice.

You dont make us debilitated individuals, rather focus on the complexity the 12th house brings, and the natural struggles that humans can face with this. Thank you for that! Pisces: Sun, Moon, Jupiter & Mars! I call it the God complex, not that we believe we are God, but understand the ability for all to connect to that God complex in them because of our constant connection to source. I can personally say I am governed by it, and often find myself thanking God to be alive, and in this realm on this planet, but still not feeling in the world. There is a vibration that comes with being of the Earth as oppsed to in the earth. The attachment to worldy things are not there for me. I dont aspire to own things in this life rather enjoy the experience of the world and help as many as I can realize it is SO much more then just this life, and realm.
