Is the box (stock or upgrade) structural to the seat? That is to say, is the rear seat safe for passengers if the stock storage box was removed and not replaced with anything?

I have been thinking about this solution for a while, the one question I had was, "How efficient is the fit?" Well, according to your video, it is awful! At 4:18 look at the wasted space (or the possible space) based on the HUGE gap at the back of the unit. You can clearly see light from the other side of the truck. WHY cant these people do a SIMPLE design of the factory platform modified to a permanent encasement? UGH. Well, as you said, there are not many options so, even though this is awful I will have to keep it on table because the only other one I can find is worse!. Thanks for the vid, at least I know where I will be disappointed.

Don’t need them I’ve grown up. I’d just upgrade from the Bose speakers to let’s say Focal or something. No need to bang hard anymore 😂
