My grass trimmer started to run slow. What could be the problem?

mine is working properly only when not cut the grass, after the line is going up in 3s,maybe is good to show the correct position of the trimmer

Mine is feeding to much and it's a waste of line and I have to buy more line while my garden is full of plastic pices

I have a Black & Decker that does the same thing. The plastic parts were too worn. Maybe try replacing the spool itself; and some of the other plastic parts on the head that might have “teeth” on them (the teeth wear out).

They changed the shape of the spool center,does not fit. Never again....
