NOTE: With the release of 1.0, Assassination was reworked. I'll be taking this video down and posting a new one to cover how the system works soon(TM). The developments affecting agent recruitment speed were also changed with the overhaul. Espionage, Intel, and Operations still work mostly the same.

Good thing to notice is that there's a special agent trait that gives you 2 level of information level. They are the Bene Gesserit ones (only female)

Great observation! I did think about adding specific agent traits to the video, but there's just too many of them, and it wouldn't be hard for anyone to figure out how they work if they knew how Information Levels do. They're actually a big part of the reason I explained Information Levels separately! Still, to make up for their lack in the video, here are a few more notable ones: - *Bene Gesserit:* Counts as 2 agents for the purposes of raising information level. - *Mentat:* Produces 50% more of any field resources. - *Mastermind:* +5% global Influence production [Only from side objective] - *Suk Doctor:* +5% Knowledge per information level - *Brainwashed:* -5% resources gained from the agent [Only from Harkonnen Hegemony milestones] There are many, many more. However, I think these ones are the most important ones. Feel free to mention some more and I'll add them to my comment!

What happens exactly if assasination upkeep grows above player's income? Will it just stop progressing?

The player will go into the negative on their production of Intel. If they then run out of Intel while staying on the negative (e.g. when they are at 0 Intel and have -5 production), they will get the "Intel Deficit" debuff: "+20% daily chance of agent capture when assigned to a faction". This means that if the enemy can't sustain the Intel upkeep to keep the assassination going, their agents assigned to you will be caught at an alarming rate and the attempt will be frozen. If this happens, you don't even have to beg them for a guarantee of safety - at that point, if they can't go into the positives again, the assassination attempt is dead.
