@DogDongDotCom3 сағат бұрын
They tried to work with his mechanics, his athleticism, his flaws and they did a pretty decent job. But people look at his pedigree (high school +college +spot drafted) and keep on thinking he has more in the tank. He might, but his good tape isn't top 10 Franchise QB material, and it was time to move on. Fields is a great athlete and fantasy qb, but even Pitt decided to go with the 35 year old Russ once the ball was already moving.

It’s one of the reasons Cam Newton ultimately never lived up to his potential, as a QB. He was always way more worried about what he looked like, and making an image for himself, than just consistently doing the work to become an all around great QB. Cam Newton was pretty good, but if he would have put his focus in the right spots he could have been great. Never forget when Cam Newton quit on his team in the Superbowl, I won’t. And everytime I hear him criticize another player for quitting, or for their antics, I’m reminded he was no different.
@marckusduverger977615 сағат бұрын
@SonofStormblessed: Alright you may need to take a step back lol I don’t think the way Cam dressed is one of the reasons he never lived up to his full potential. Also I feel that 2015 MVP run was pretty darn close to his full potential but maybe I’m wrong, he was incredible though. Cam just put too much wear & tear on his body running over people & injuries over time messed him up. I know people will never forget Cam not jumping on that ball during the Super Bowl but dang to say he quit on his team is a bit extreme. Cam actually said his self that after that criticism, like 2 years later he made a play to go all out & hurt his shoulder which he really hurt his career. Can we stop blaming the bears offensive line for Caleb Williams’ struggles? Has the offensive line been great? No, but it hasn’t been terrible. The bears O-line ranks 13th in the league in QB pressures allowed and a PBWR that ranks 15th in the league. Meanwhile, Caleb holds onto the ball on average 3.09 seconds which is 4th longest in the league. Stop blaming the bears offensive line. @freetheworld2671: I wouldn’t be surprised to see them in the NFC Championship, Vikings are REALLY good & Detroit as good as they are is very beat up. They could potentially have the 1 seed as well. So if the playoffs begin today they would face the Falcons & they are wiping the floor with the Falcons. Bucs vs Vikings would be interesting though cause they are better than their record. Still I think Vikings are making the NFC Championship this year

@therealbenjamin789 I think a lot of people are having a hard time that a number one drafted quarterback just might turn out to be average at best. People quit blaming everybody else but him…

Them draft kings suggested bets are a curse, needed both qbs to throw two td and they couldn’t do that,

This is the real Caleb Williams! He's a game manager at best, he can be Drew Brees at best and i hope he gets there! You know what other chant she left out was? "WE WANT JUSTIN, WE WANT JUSTIN!"

I think cam is saying like his “polish” is like Dak Prescott. Notice how Dak finally start speaking some truth and there are now moments we need to hear those kinds of answers

Let me correct this guy with the cowboy around, Keenan Allen has how many drops this year? Talk about that stat as far as not featuring those three, that’s the Bears offense. That’s why he holds onto the ball. Who is the guy with the head on. Is he a cowboy?

Let’s face it guys the bears are supposed to lose these games. Ryan Poles is doing a great job. Amassing draft capital for next year’s offensive line draft hopefully they’re active in free agency and this nightmare can end.

we have the worst Center- guard combo in the league. the bears make DT’s pro bowlers. just draft well and get a good coach in there
@jasonbugs287714 сағат бұрын
People are putting too much on these rookie QB's. The QB's used to sit for a few to learn from veterans and catch up with how the game is at this level. I think throwing them in and expecting them to be polished day 1 is just not fair. Can some guys do it? Yea, very few. There are guys coming in getting ruined by taking their confidence away starting them before they're ready.
@BostonBori9216 сағат бұрын
They didn't pick the right QB realistically. If you look at them all Drake Maye fit what the Bears do and dont have better they expected Williams physical talents to give them a spark at the postion that they never had in the franchise 😂 same talent doesn't translate to production right away Drake is physically READY to play right now Caleb needed to be in a place like NE were he sits behind a guy learns the game then play with some seasoning hes not built to play thru struggling football

The real Caleb Williams just stood up. And took a 5 yard sack. 2nd and 15.
