Kyrie made comments in the media saying that the team needed veterans, and that they were inexperienced. And he said he called bron because now he knew what is was like having a younger player that wants to take over. These were all seen as slights to the younger guys, jaylen brown was even asked about it. These things all happened at the time, but it nice they can look back on their time as teammates with fondness

After Luka finished this season with some of the best numbers in history and was just crowned Western Finals MVP, I would say that ESPN's coverage of his season from some of the anchors (SAS, Perk...) has probably been something like 33.3% praise of Kyrie, 33.3% praise of all other Mavs players, 33.3% criticism of Dallas's rivals, and around 0.01% actual praise and recognition of Luka Doncic as one of the best basketball players in the world and the main reason why his team has made it this far. Am I wrong?

And as far as the movie he posted is concerned, he just posted it and said nothing. It was the Nets owner who blew it out of proportion and the media took it from there. Kyrie did not just wake and say he didn't want to play, remember that.

Windy is purposefully being misleading... We all know that the owners will more often than stick together than side with players. So the idea that Kyrie wasn't marketable is pointless because if the market controllers intentionally collude against you as a player, what can you do? He himself spoke on this when Lamar Jackson was waiting for his contract from the Ravens and other NFL teams chose not to pursue him to save the Ravens money.
