They systematically lower his status while he's the most clutch and spectacular. Medias have integrated a certain narrative about him. These people are crazy, they got to demonize someone whose basically one of the most humble, one of the kindest and without à doubt the most skilled player ever

I want to hear these apologies when Tatum wins his championship. The media have dragged his name in the mud enough times.

Folks were upset because Kyrie knows who he is🥱

Kyrie at those times felt he was better than Bron , brown and Tatum.. at 32 kyrie knows Luka is an assassin so he has no issue playing second fiddle. Also Luka is a much better SCORER than Bron, brown and Tatum

Kyrie has grown and flourished into such a special person, dude. So many people went at him in the past with hate in their hearts and failed to realize that he’s human, and he was a young 25 year old in Boston. He made mistakes but who doesn’t? This series is gonna be so much fun but I can already see the media trying their hardest to make this a hateful grudge match.

It's amazing how many people giving him 'credit' for doing his JOB, acting like he's doing mavericks a favor for playing hard

Those “narratives” are correct. Kyrie doesn’t deserve an apology, even a fake one.

It should have always been about basketball! ESPN made it about something other then BASKETBALL.

"If you put Kyrie brain in a bird, the bird will play backwards" Yes, SAS had the more personal backlash towards Kyrie but Kendrick Perkins said the most disrespectful ish. Maybe he talked to K11 man to man, but if not, you don't get off that easy with a simple tv apology.

SAS has done NOTHING for the game of basketball. His opinion should matter as much as mine in regards to what the narrative of such a phenomenon like Kyrie Irving is.

Why does Stephen A. argue points no one is making? No one argued that Isiah Thomas deserved to be left off the Dream Team. Furthermore, it was also a bad comparison because Isiah Thomas being left off the Dream Team had nothing to do with any social or political positions he had taken. He was left off because he wasn't well liked among his peers. His tangents distract from the discussion.

Exactly what Perk said , what mistakes has he actually made
