UGA just doesn't have the playmakers Bama has (Williams is leagues better than anyone UGA has) and Beck once again shows that he's no where close to Milroe. If it wasn't for Bama taking it conservative in the 2nd half the score would have been a lot worse. It doesn't really matter though since UGA still has Texas, Tenn, and Ole Miss which are probably more loses.

That was wild. Turned on the tv (which happened to already be on ESPN), and there was a few minutes left before halftime. I don’t normally watch college football, but since the game was a good rivalry, I left it on. I noticed the score, and thought, “Wow, that’s lopsided, and if Alabama really presses Georgia, it could end being 60-14.” Glad I kept watching it. Georgia fans had quite an emotional rollercoaster on this game. The glorious comeback, but then instantly had the rug pulled out from under them. Joy, then pain.

Some folks are saying Alabama didn't play well in the second half. Really? I don't think they realize that exceptional teams like Georgia make half-time and in-game adjustments. Georgia adjusted on both sides of the ball. The only thing that Alabama failed to do in second half is adjust to Georgia's readjustment, especially on offense. Also, Milroe was just the better QB in the game. Carlson Beck had too many missed opportunities.
